For education innovation and study, there is a good harmony with all stakeholders, including students, alumni, professors, staff, management, and the general community.

On the occasion, Dr Ashok K Chitkara, Chancellor of Chitkara University said, “It is the hard work by our students, staff and faculty for years that resulted in securing this recognition. Moreover, the university has a well-defined research promotion policy which has resulted in the development of state-of-the-art advanced facilities. Our CURIN facility offers multidisciplinary advanced facilities backed by research funding from various Government agencies. Students and teachers can take part in exchange programmes with foreign academic institutions during the university's Global Week. Through internationally funded research projects, foreign conferences, and campus cultural immersion programs, this has helped to create vibrant collaborations. A sizable number of international specialists (250) and students (25,000) have benefited from this best practice.

Dr Shailly Jain, Associate Director IQAC, said “The university has been able to achieve this as a result of its dedicated and rigorous efforts in meeting the standards set by NAAC. We followed the parameters and guidelines provided by NAAC for compiling and submitting the Self-Study Report and other necessary documents. This attention to detail and commitment to meeting NAAC's standards played a crucial role in the university's success in achieving this ranking.”

Vice Chancellor Dr Varinder S Kanwar said, “Entrepreneurship development has been one of our focus areas, we have Startup Eco-System wherein, we provide research scholars and faculties with seed money to support their research projects and patent applications. Chitkara University Himachal Pradesh has a successful record of creating some brilliant start-ups such as Chai Nagri, ROBO Champs, SD Academia and many more”.

It’s a good college, food is not bad, placement is above average, campus life is great.

Placements: The highest package is ₹1.1 CPA for CSE. The average package is ₹5–6 LPA. Around 70–80% of students got placed. It’s a good college, and placement is also above average. Courses available here are BE CSE, Nursing, and Pharmacy, which are high-tech and informative.

Not worth it; you can get a better college.

Placements: The placement cell is not very active, and only a few companies visit during placement drives, mostly offering low packages. Students are often left to find jobs on their own. Internship opportunities are also limited and not well-organized by the college. Though the campus is decent, and there are occasional cultural fests and activities, these do little to compensate for the academic shortcomings. Hostels are average at best, especially when it comes to handling student grievances. Simple task...

For studies, it is a good college. There will be strict action for any non-disciplinary activity.

Placements: I am part of the B.Pharm course. Overall, the maximum students are placed in this course. It does not give more high placements to all. Overall, it is good for studies.

You can choose a better college.

Placements: Only a few companies visit during placement drives, mostly offering low packages. Students are often left to find jobs on their own. Internship opportunities are also limited and not well organized by the college. Rarely go beyond reading slides. Doubts are often left unresolved, and student feedback is generally ignored.
