I have a really good campus life and am happy that I will have a secure future .
Placements: The college usually has placement records above 95%, where students get an average package of 8 LPA, which goes up to 22 LPA in previous years. Top recruiters are Federal Bank, ICIC Bank, DHL, TCS, EY, Turn B, Walkraro, Asian Paints, KPMG, etc. This year, almost 80% of students got internship opportunities through our college placement cell. The companies that offered internships were Federal, ICIC, VKC, Kochi metro and other startup companies from Kerala. Usually, companies offer management trainee jobs and other domain executive jobs.
Infrastructure: The department building is 60-year-old building but it goes through renovation every year. It has Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the campus and also has well-furnished, fully air-conditioned computer labs. The sms department also has a library and the university also has a big library with endless books and articles, etc. When we look at the quality of the hostels, there are around 14 hostels for students, which also includes hostels for international students. Some hostels are new and some are old but each hostels is available at cheap cost. Around 350 rupees only for a month. The mess and canteen provide good and healthy food at an affordable price for the students. The CUSAT amenity central has a clinic for medical facilities for students.
The sports and games include all the games and sports activities with university support. The boxing club here is good, with good coaches headed by Karthik Sir.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified with PhDs from top colleges in the country, like IIM and NITs.
Each faculty member has their own unique way of teaching, which I personally like.
The course curriculum is relevant and focuses on experiential learning with case studies and industry collaborations.
Exams are at a moderately tough level. Almost 98% students will pass the exams.
Other: I would like to start my own business so I need business knowledge.
The reason I chose this institution is because it has a 60-year legacy and a strong alumni network.
The class timings are not good, which starts from 9:30 to 5:30, which really shortens the day.
There are lots of e-grants provided for the students. CUSAT is also famous for its cultural events. SMS conducts the management fest talent time and there are also lots of other department festivals and programmes. There are 8,000 students studying at CUSAT.

Our college has a beautiful campus.
Placements: The placement cell of our college provides placements. The placement cell always manages to bring many top brands. Our college does not support us to get placements. Our college provides very good placements in good companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good and clean. We have perfect classrooms and facilities. The library is vast with many references and case study materials. The hostel rooms and food are good.
Faculty: Our teachers do not help us with leave applications, projects, and approvals. You can't even get good internals or attendance percentage even though you have done everything perfectly. The curriculum is old and decades behind.
Other: Our college has a good return on investment. All programs and events at our college are memorable and fun.

Had a very good experience in CUSAT and is a proud alumnus of my college.
Placements: 80% of students got placed. Students had an average package of 4 lacs per annum. Deloitte, TCS, KPMG were some of the major recruitment companies. Roles offered were primarily in finance as business consultant. Our college helped us with the internship for few students.
Infrastructure: Had good infrastructure facility with Wi-Fi connection. The hostel facilities were also satisfactory. The infrastructure facilities in the hostel was also satisfactory. The canteen facility was okay. We often got a chance to participate in games and sports.
Faculty: Teachers were very knowledgeable and the quality for teaching was at a high level. The course made all of us ready for industry. The course curriculum is very relevant and it covers a wide area. The teachers were very caring and always helpful towards us.
Other: MBA was my passion. I was always interested in studying business and it's management. We had internships which help us in having a close association with the actual functioning of a business.

I'm highly satisfied with our university and all its activities. I'm fortunate to be a part of it.
Placements: Companies like DHL, TCS, EY, KPMG, Federal Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, etc., are main recruiters for our college. About 60% of the students and above got placed from our batch. Analysts, relationship managers, deputy managers, management trainees, etc., are the top roles offered in our course. Most of the students got internships in different industrial areas.
Infrastructure: Our university library is a great source of books and references. There are also Wi-Fi and lab facilities. Canteen facilities are good, and CUSAT supports different sports and games also. But hostel facilities and quality of the food can be improved. However, CUSAT provides good opportunities for students who like to do research.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified and experienced. They are highly approachable and always available for students for any help. The course curriculum is relevant and knowledgeable. There are a lot of opportunities to explore and make yourself industry-ready.
Other: Talentime is the biggest management fest organised here, where students from all around India participate. Our university provides a lot of scholarships.

Absolutely satisfied because of good facility teams, good placements in 2018.
Placements: Students of SMS CUSAT recieved 125 internship offer from 65 companies. The highest annual pay package offered is around 6.14 Lacs, while the average annual salary touched the? 3.5 Lacs mark this time. The recruiters include Tata consultancy services, Deloitte, Adithya Birla group, KPMG, South Indian Bank, Asian paints, Oyo rooms etc.
Infrastructure: The quality of the infrastructure provided by CUSAT is average. But they provide all the infrastructures likr lab, library, aminity centre, hostel rooms, canteen, medical facility etc. Food from the canteen is good and affordable to the students.
Faculty: Faculty members in SMS are very helpful and friendly minded. They are enough qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is highly satisfactory. They introduce new methods of teaching styles. They arrange interactive sections with industry related famous personalities.

An overall 50% mark in aggregate is required to apply for CUSAT CAT 2023. For the rest, the qualifying mark is 60% in aggregate as well as Mathematics. Diploma or Vocational candidates are not eligible to appear for CUSAT CAT 2023. The maximum age limit of candidate is 25 years.
