My review of this college.
Placements: The placement and job opportunities are average in my college, as we get job opportunities by attending pooled campuses held at other colleges on their invitation. They don't call for any companies that reach out directly to our college for the placement of UIET students. There is a placement cell that manages to inform every student regarding the pooled campuses held at other colleges where UIET is invited. Company visits to our campus include Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Magicpin, and many more. Every year, about 65% to 75% of students get placed with an average package of 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: There is separate accommodation for boys and girls. With time passing by, the hostel management has been very particular about the rules and regulations, and the mess food was very good and hygienic.
Faculty: Faculty members are talented and able to explain topics. I find very good and experienced professors. Professors are knowledgeable and they are very cooperative. They help with everything from college issues to personal issues. I had very good relations with professors. Marks are divided in every section. You have 5 marks for attendance (if you have 75%). The mid-semester exam will be of 30 marks and end-semester exams will be of 50 marks. Exams are held in a good manner. The paper duration is 3 hours. The mid-semester exam is always in October for the odd semester and in March for the even semester.

Best campus of Kanpur in affordable price.
Placements: Placement rate of CSJMU is really very surprising because all the students who are actually dedicated to their studies get placements in decent companies. Placement rate is more than 60% and for interns also. Companies like HCL, Infosys, and Wipro come here to conduct interviews with the students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my course is really very great. All classes are well furnished and also have proper water, sanitation, and other facilities. In our computer lab, there are enough amount of computers. All the labs, auditorium, and main department offices have AC but not in all the classrooms. Full campus is connected with Wi-Fi but sometimes its speed is slow. Campus has proper medical facilities with sports/games along with cafeteria.
Faculty: Teachers are really great. They are punctual, kind, and knowledgeable. They are too much helpful and highly qualified. Semester exams are medium level so if a student focuses on the class lectures so they may tackle the exam easily. As BCA is a 3-year course so it contains 6 semesters, and you have to pay the fee for 2 semesters at once (no option for 1 semester fee).
Other: As a campus of 164 acres, I feel that it is almost value of money. But I think they should add AC to students' regular classes also. If I talk about the crowd of the campus, then its not too much and that too low its average because the campus is so enormous.

Life at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur, is full of curiosity and blunder.
Placements: Students must have a CGPA of 6.5 or above to be eligible for placements. In our college, the highest salary package offered is 7 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Companies that are visiting for selection are Meta, Wipro, WFM, etc. Students must have 6.5 CGPA and approximately 60% of students secured internships. Roles offered are data analyst, sales manager, and field work.
Infrastructure: Departments are upgrading nowadays. Teachers are very supportive but with restrictions. They understand students' nature and behavior and give extra effort to those who are weak in languages or coding. Hostels have good infrastructure safe, and secure. Every student's safety is taken as a priority whether they are girls or boys.
Faculty: All professors are full of knowledge. Their teaching style is also good if anyone has doubts they can clarify them in classrooms or offices. Semester exams are not very difficult but all students find it challenging to do exams.
Other: I'm interested in coding, and computer-related things or IOT-based so I chose this course.

CSJMU is a renowned institution.
Placements: The 2024 placement data has not been released. Earlier, the placement drive 2023 concluded with more than 1,257 job offers made during CSJMU on-campus and off-campus drives. Over 612 job offers were received on-campus and more than 645 job offers were attracted from the job fair and pool drives. Further, the top recruiters who participated in CSJMU placements in the past years were Paytm, Neemus, HCL Technologies, Zomato, etc. The university has also released the NIRF 2024, incorporating the 2023 median package for various courses. The median package offered to B.Tech and MBA students during 2023 placements was 4 LPA to 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University campus spans 264 acres. CSJMU excels in providing its students and teachers with every facility that is needed for their personal and professional growth. Facilities like the students welfare center, clubs, career counseling and guidance, hostel, etc., are available. The residential wing of the campus includes faculty members of life sciences, business management, education, and English. There are separate hostels, academic, and administrative blocks. CSJMU library has its computer subnet with the most modern CAT-6 network technology.
Faculty: Faculty to student ratio is very bad. This causes lots of delays in flying as one instructor is responsible for teaching more students than they can manage. The number of aircraft is also not sufficient considering the number of students. The total fee might be one of the biggest in India but the number of students is also very high. Exams are held during the ground training phase. Each subject has 3 exams and they are overall not tough. The ground training is very helpful for DGCA exams.
Other: I love my college because it conducts various activities that are useful for us.

College is good Hod sir is good Labs are perfectTeachers are good.
Placements: Many students got a placement. They make too many efforts in helping students get prepared for interviews, and so many companies come to the college to give internships. They tell us it is all upon us whether we have to know how to clear the interview.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Free Wi-Fi is available in all the buildings. Classrooms are also good. Labs are good. The hostel is good, but it is too far; it is too distant. The ground is so big that every student is allowed to go there to play different games as they want.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive, and they take classes regularly. They are all well qualified. Semester exams are tough, but teachers teach you a lot, so it is not that tough. The passing percentage is 33%, as usual. This makes students ready for the industry.

Yes a commerce student can join BCA course without maths. The general eligibility criteria for joining BCA course is to Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2. BCA is total of three year program
