Teaching and practical learning provided here are very good, but there are no on-campus placements.
Placements: There were no on-campus placements in our college, and none of the companies visited here for the same. So, every student has to find jobs on their own. About 50% of the students or more prepared for NIPER exam to take admission in M. Pharma. In our 4 years of graduation, we had to do industrial training, and even for that also, our college didn't help us. We did it with the help of our seniors.
Infrastructure: The pharmacy department is separated from other departments. There are different labs like pharmacology, pharmaceutical, computer, pharmacognosy, dispensing pharmacy, pharmaceutical chemistry, HPLC, etc. Labs have many important instruments, so all the experiments can be performed. Medical facilities are available as there is a small hospital which runs OPD in the physiotherapy department. Sports and games facilities are good, but the canteen facility is average.
Faculty: Mostly, teachers here are PhD holders and have years of experience. They were helpful, supportive and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good, and some teachers have very good nature. The course curriculum is relevant and makes us industry-ready. But there are no placements.
Other: I have chosen this course because it has good faculty members and teaching. Our college environment is good. The annual Youth fest organised here is amazing, and an annual sports day is also organised in the department.

Satisfied with the infrastructure, placements, and faculty.
Placements: Placements provided for the students of my batch were not much good. Only 20% of the entire batch got placed through college placements, and the rest opted for higher studies. There was a placement cell in our college, but it was not very efficient. The highest salary offered was 2 LPA, and the lowest salary offered was 1.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was average. The classrooms were pretty spacious. There were around seven hundred reference books in our library. The quality of food served in the canteen as well as in the hostel was average. I didn't face any infrastructure related issues during my tenure at the college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful. The most important thing is that they can be approached at any time for clearing our doubts. The student to faculty ratio was 25:1. We got one industrial exposure during the third year of our college, and it was very helpful for all of us.

Satisfied with the infrastructure, placements, and faculty.
Placements: Placements provided to the students of my batch were not much great. Only around 20% of the students of the batch got placed through college placements. Around 30% of the students of our senior batch got placed through college placements, and the others opted for higher studies. The placement cell in our college was not very efficient for the students of B.Pharma department.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was pretty good. The library had a very good collection of reference books. The quality of the labs was pretty good, and the classrooms were pretty spacious. The food served in the canteen was also good. I personally didn't face any issues related to the infrastructure during my tenure at the college.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were highly qualified and knowledgeable. The student to faculty ratio was approximately 25:1. We had two industrial visits during the third year of my college. Professors were very helpful and can be approached during any time of the day for clearing one's doubts.

One of the best colleges for pharmacy in U.P with good environment, but not good at placements.
Placements: For B.Pharma, there are almost zero placements. No company has reached our campus, since 2012. Most of the students try for off-campus placements. But, the students perform well in off-campus placements. The students get placed in companies like Sun Pharmaceutical, Ranbaxy, etc. The university does have a placement cell, but it has no use.
Infrastructure: The department of pharmacy does have well-equipped labs and well-furnished classrooms. The canteen serves a good quality of food at quite low prices. The hostel rooms are well-furnished and are comfortable, and it has 24 hours electricity and water supply. The mess food is disgusting. I would recommend opting for a PG instead of the college hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. Most importantly, the HOD is very understanding and helpful. Most of the teachers are well qualified, and their teaching quality is quite good. The student to faculty ratio is 60:1. We do get industry exposure. Our seniors were sent to industries for their internships. As PCI decides the curriculum, the department is bound to follow it.
Other: A Pharma fest is organised in the department every year, which includes sports events, cultural events, and guest lectures. Also, UP scholarships are provided by U.P. government. The campus is situated far away from the crowd of Kanpur. It's a lush green campus and has a very healthy environment.
