DAVV offers BE/BTech courses to students in full-time mode only. The final admission process shall take place through the counselling conducted by DTE, Bhopal. The accepted entrance exams for BTech is JEE Main, CUET, MP BE, and others. DAVV University accepts scores from JEE Main and MPPET for admission into BTech programmes. These exams are required for getting a seat through DTE counselling. Students need to register for these exams individually. 

The total tuition fee for BTech from DAVV Indore is INR 1.6L to INR 3L according to official sources but may change. For more information about other fee components such as hostel fee, admission fee, etc., get in touch with the university directly.

RGPV is a state technological university located in Madhya Pradesh. The university offers more than top 20 specialisations in BTech, whereas DAVV offers 15+ specialisations. The total seat intake for BTech is much greater in RGPV, which is 55,980 (inclusive the seat intake of all affiliated colleges), whereas a total of 780 seats are available at DAVV for BTech course. As per the placement records of the year, the Median package at RGPV stood at INR 3.50 LPA and for DAVV, it stood at NR 6 LPA. Candidates can choose among both the university based on the location, placements and the seats available in their desired course.

DAVV Indore offers various BTech courses spread across different fields such as Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Instrumentation and more. Admission to these courses is made based on JEE Main score. Moreover, the seat allocation process will be conducted by DTE, Bhopal counselling procedure.

The NEET PG cutoff for B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering at DAVV stood at 58973 for General AI candidates. This specialisation remains vital in high-dependency among all the candidates. In contrast to it, the low demanded course was B.E. in Civil Engineering. To get a seat at DAVV, candidates need to score a rank of 58973 and 157297 for the General AI category.

DAVV gives admission to various students for various courses. For BTech courses, JEE Main exam was conducted by the institute for All India and Home State quotas for General and PWD category candidates. For DAVV cutoff 2024, the rank stood between 45829 and 100743 for the General AI category candidates. If we talk about General Home State category candidates, the cutoff lie between 49472 and 117858. 

Admission without CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is possible for some courses only like LL. M., and others. but for these courses,  CUET-PG is accepted by the university. So, students can get admission without CUET but the student have to change the course they are opting for. So, the best solution is to prepare in advance for the CUET and get admission in the relevant course. Seats are limited and candidates applying through CUET are many. Only good preparation can assist in getting admission to various courses like BTech, BSc, B.A. and others.

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced
