DIT Dehradun University offers BTech, MTech, MBA, BSc, BDes courses at the UG and PG levels. The college also offers three years of BTech and BPharma Lateral Entry courses. Students can check some of the course-wise eligibility from the table presented below:

DIT University course fee includes multiple components, such as hostel fee, caution money, tuition fee, etc. The one-time fee included in the BA fee structure is INR 15,000. In addition, the hostel charges range from INR 4.18 Lacs to INR 5.55 lakh and the tuition fee ranges between INR 1.8 Lacs and INR 2.4 lakh. Yes, DIT University offers a two-year MBA programme. The course is divided into four semesters. DIT admit applicants based on scores of MAT/XAT/CAT/CMAT/UKSEE/DUET. Shortlisted candidates also have to go through group discussion and personal interview rounds. The university offers MBA (general) and MBA in FINTECH. Step 1: Online Application

The mode of application is online for all courses. Candidates need to pay an application fee to apply for admission.

Step 2: Selection Rounds

The university shortlists candidates based on their merit or entrance exam scores. DIT also conducts DUET for shortlisting aspirants for MPharm, M.Tech and PhD courses. The university conducts other selection rounds like GDPI or PI rounds for some of the specific courses. However, for PhD who have a valid score GATE / SET / SLET will be selected based on PI. Additionally, candidates who do not have any of the scores mentioned above need to sit and appear for merit-based counselling on DUET followed by PI.

Step 3: Counselling & Admission Confirmation

After the completion of the selection rounds, candidates are called for merit-based counselling and document verification. Selected candidates need to pay a course fee to confirm their admission.

Yes, DIT University offers merit-based scholarship to BArch students. A maximum of 40% waiver is offered to students under the merit scholarship. Below is the criteria for BArch merit scholarship:

Yes, DIT University offers BA and BA (Hons) course across different specialisations. Some of the specialisations in which the UG course is available are English, Psyhology, and Economics. Additionally, BA is also offered as a honors programme with research in the mentioned three specialisations. Admission to the UG course is carried out through merit-based counselling. 

Yes, DIT Dehradun BPharm curriculum includes practical subjects. There are 25 practical courses in the course curriculum around the study of Pharmacy and related topics. Mentioned below are the practical subjects:

Yes, DIT University BPharm application form is out for the 2025-26 academic year. Aspirants who meet the eligibility criteria prescribed for BPharm course can proceed with the application formalities. Aspirants must submit their applications on or before the prescribed deadline.

The students should complete a diploma course with a 55% aggregate. The applicants must hold the pass certificate and mark sheets (original/copies). These documents have to be presented at the time of form filling and admissions for verification purposes.

A Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) is an undergraduate pharmacy degree course. It is one of the popular job-oriented courses among students after Class 12. The course revolves around the study of Pharmaceuticals and Medications, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Medicinal Chemistry, and other topics.

BPharmacy is necessary for registration as a chemist in many nations across the globe. Because both BPharma and PharmD are required for licensure in most countries, they are regarded as equal. Moreover, the course teaches students about drug manufacturing, dosage formulation, chemical nature analysis, and preclinical testing of new pharmaceuticals. Aside from the technical aspects of Pharmacy, BPharmacy discusses pharmaceutical product marketing and the patenting of novel pharmaceuticals. 

DIT University was established in 1998 and is located in Dehradun. It is a private university and is approved by UGC,  Nepal Engineering Council, and AICTE and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities and the International Association of Universities. The university is ISO certified and has received the QS-IGAUGE ‘DIAMOND’ rating. Further, the DITU has been accredited with an A Grade by NAAC and has a cafeteria, mess facilities, hostel facility,  and others.

The average salary package received by students after completing B.E. / B.Tech from DIT University is INR 550,000 - INR 620,000. While, the average salary offered by Graphic Era Deemed to be University after completion of B.E. / B.Tech is INR 538,000. Basis these stats, DIT University is a better option compared to Graphic Era Deemed to be University on the average salary parameter.

The eligibility criteria of DIT University varies for the BPharm and BPharm lateral entry programmes. For admission to regular BPharm course, aspirant should have passed Class 12 from a recognised board and studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as mandatory subjects. In addition, the applicant should have obtained pass marks in PCM/PCB and English to get selected. For this course admission, proficiency in English language is also a requirement by the university.
