    Q:   Does DIT University accepts JEE Main?
    A: 

    Yes, along with the CUET UG score, DIT Dehradun also select students based on JEE Main and on the merit of Class 12. On-campus admission counselling is conducted by the university, for which 25% of seats are reserved for Uttarakhand candidates who have scored 95% or above in Class 12. Direct admission is possible in this case, and a 25% Scholarship will be given on tuition fees.

    Yes, DIT University increases its course fees on an annual basis across all levels. This only applies to tuition fees as hostel fees remains constant and academic service fees fluctuates. There is no fixed rate at which this fee increase is done at DIT Dehradun.

    DIT University will shortlist candidates based on their merit or entrance exam scores. DIT also conducts DUET for shortlisting aspirants for MPharm, M.Tech and PhD courses. Candidates also have to undergo counselling for a few courses. However, for PhD who have a valid score GATE / SET / SLET will be selected based on PI. Additionally, candidates who do not have any of the scores mentioned above need to sit and appear for merit-based counselling on DUET followed by PI.

    Admission fees for confirmation of DIT University is INR 10,000 in academic year 2026. This is a common amount for all courses which non refundable. Alongside this admission fees, candidates will also be charged a security deposit of INR 5,000. It will be refunded either at end or when a candidate cancel's their admission.

    The best university in Dehradun, especially in architecture.
    Placements: I am a student of B.Arch 1st year (a 5-year course). Placements are quite good in design courses. Placement drives are conducted regularly with 1,550+ placement offers across the university. Dedicated training is provided for aptitude tests and interviews. Plenty of opportunities are available, with maximum offers coming from top recruiters like Infosys, Accenture, and Deloitte.
    Infrastructure: Our university has good infrastructure with modern academic buildings. We also have classrooms, libraries, sports facilities, and a well-maintained campus. The campus is clean and spacious. It is also well-maintained. Classrooms are spacious, labs are well-equipped, and sports facilities are easily accessible. Our campus offers a nice green environment.
    Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly. As a student of architecture, I find our teachers to be extremely supportive and approachable. Especially, Ar. Sandeep Sir is very supportive. We get great guidance for projects and assignments, and practical lab sessions are very useful for overall learning.
    Other: I chose this course because architecture is my passion, and DIT University is the best institution for architecture courses in Uttarakhand.

    I absolutely love DIT University, and I'm proud of DIT.
    Placements: Around 85% of students get placed in the course. Infosys is one of the top recruiting companies. The highest package offered is around 8 LPA. Around 70% of students secure internships in different companies and startups. The top roles offered are in startups.
    Infrastructure: Facilities at DIT University are very good. Facilities for my course are also excellent. The campus is well-maintained. The medical facilities are better compared to those of other colleges. The campus is amazing. The overall environment of the college is very good.

    Overall a wonderful university. Admission in any course won't be regretted.
    Placements: Architecture is a course that is provided with negligible placements. Instead, in the final year, we are supposed to complete a 6-month training under an architect or a firm. We can either apply to different companies or ask the college to get us one.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The studio classes have abundant space and well-to-do desks, which are drafting tables, each of which has lockers. Other than these, there are lecture rooms solely for lectures with simple desk seating. Each class has a projector board and a blackboard as well. Each building is provided with Wi-Fi service. The facilities are friendly and reliable. They're always there to guide the students and lead them in the best way possible. Every teacher has his or her own style of teaching, which is efficient in its own way.
    Faculty: All the teachers are quite skilled and well-versed in their jobs. They have abundant knowledge of the course and teach their subjects with full dedication and passion. The course is very curriculum-relevant. There are subjects like Professional Practice and Professional Communication that prepare the students for the professional industry as well. Difficulty of exams solely depends on student's perspective. If the student is quick to grasp and attentive in classes, the exams aren't that difficult, just some subjects require a little more effort than others.
    Other: I chose this course because of my passion for art and design, and what could be better than being able to design the home you are going to love your life in? Architecture has many great aspects, but the best part is travel. There are many trips held throughout the course, around one per semester, which help you explore different places, making it a wonderful course for people who love to travel. The major events of the college are YOUTHOPIA and SPHURTI, one being the annual college fest and the other being the annual sports fest, respectively. Both of these last three days and are very enjoyable. There are scholarships provided for the students under certain criteria, which can be explained by the administration.
