Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) commenced the choice filling process for spot 1 round on October 11, 2022. Candidates desired to get enrolled in BTech Biotechnology course are required to complete the choice filling process online on the official website at ipu.admissions.nic.in or before October 17, 2022. The authorities will announce the tentative vacant seats for spot 1 round on October 12, 2022 while the final result of spot 1 round will be announced on October 19, 2022. 

IPU CET 2022 BTech Bio-Technology admission is done based on the performance in the entrance examination. Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPUCET) is conducted every year for admission to the various programmes offered by the University. Total of 150 objective-type questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the examination. The admissions is based on merit/rank in IPU CET. IPUCET 2022 BTech Bio-Technology Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should be eligible to apply for IPU CET 2022 BTech Bio Technology admission. Check the eligibility criteria below:

  • Pass in Class 12 with minimum 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology/Biotechnology
  • Candidates should have passed each subject separately
  • Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination

IPU CET 2022 Admission Process (BTech Biotechnology)

As discussed above, the admission will be done based on the performance in IPUCET 2022. Check the step-by-step process of IPUCET BTech Biotechnology admission below:

  • Step 1 – Registration: Eligible candidates have to register themselves online by filling IPU CET application form. Candidates should fill the application form with correct details only otherwise it will be liable for rejection.
  • Step 2 – Admit car availability: The admission authority will issue IPU CET 2022 admit card to the eligible candidates only. Candidates will be able to download their admit card by using their login credentials.
  • Step 3 – Appear in exam: Candidates have to participate and qualify the exam so that they can get the call for participating in the admission procedure. The exam schedule will be released later.
  • Step 4 – Result declaration: After conduct of the exam, result will be announced online. Candidates who will participate in the exam will be able to check their result from the official website.

A. Such candidates have to fill a separate application form for each CET.

Q. Is IPUCET for law course cancelled?

A. Yes, GGSIPU no longer conducts entrance exam for law courses i.e. BA LLB and LLB. The university only conducts IPUCET counselling for law courses on basis of CLAT exam scores/ merit rank.

Yes, you can edit the IPU CET application form after submission, but only during the official correction window provided by GGSIPU. Edits are allowed in limited fields, and once the correction period is over, no further changes can be made.

No, digital copies are not accepted. You must carry a printed hard copy of the IPU CET admit card to the exam centre along with a valid photo ID. Without the printed admit card, entry into the examination hall will not be permitted.
