It is an awesome college to study at, and you can recognise your skills.
Placements: The minimum salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the maximum salary package offered is 16 LPA to 2 students by Google. Almost 80% of the students got placed each year. If you have a good GPA, you can get a salary package of at least 6 LPA. Students need to have a minimum of 6.5 GPA to sit in placements.
Infrastructure: This college has a very old infrastructure, and it was inaugurated by Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru in the year 1960. Classrooms are well-furnished. Libraries have enough books, and laboratories have good computer networks and internet facilities. The university is spacious, very neat and clean. Smartboards and Wi-Fi facilities make the learning process much easier. Food is very tasty and hygienic in the hostel mess.
Faculty: I am a web developer and had a great experience. Teachers are very good and well-experienced. The curriculum is based on the latest learning methods and is updated. The study here aims at making every individual job-ready. Faculty members here are experienced, well-qualified and supportive too. Professors are a bit strict too. You need to work hard to get good grades in internals as the college is very strict in terms of attendance. Teachers are very supportive.
Other: I totally feel that I am getting my money's worth by studying in this college as the knowledge I am getting. It has more worth than any fee I am paying for it. It is my dream college, and by studying here, I am achieving all my dreams. It helps me in becoming successful in future. Campus life here is amazing, but some developments need to be done. Many fests take place here, and there are a lot of things of interest to do in this college. Students, teachers and support staff members are very helpful and kind in nature.

I am satisfied with the college, but you have to look out for yourself.
Placements: Only 2% of the students were placed. The packages offered range from 3-7 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys and Whirlpool. None of the students got an internship from college. The main role offered is a junior engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the hostel, and we paid for it. We also have to pay the hostel maintenance fee. The labs are good, but half of the computers in the computer labs don't work. The classrooms are nice. They have digital teaching methods. The library is the best part of the college. They also have a place called CCF, with centralised AC. It provides an adequate environment for studying.
Faculty: The faculty members are very old, and they do not update themselves. Only the Tequip faculty are knowledgeable. There are several courses in the first year, which do not do justice to our grades. The curriculum is well designed and follows everything required. The semester exams are good, and the pass percentage is 50%.
Other: College life depends on an individual's mindset. Mine was just fine because I had friends. The fests are good. They are organised by a student body, so if you are a part of such a body, then you will get exposure to the outer world as well.

The JEE mains cut off for general category male student goes upto 85000
For OBC male candidates the rank can go to 1.5 Lac
There is further more reservation for SC/ST candidates and female students.

Yes, you can get admission in GB Pant University after clearing JEE mains exam. Your rank should be in the range of 50k to 80k. For CS branch, your rank should be in the range of 50k to 60k.
