It is one of the best agriculture colleges.
Placements: The placements are good. Many companies visit the college every year. Almost 30-40% of students got placed through on-campus placements. Only a few students got internships. The lowest package offered was 6 LPA, the highest package was 10 LPA, and the average package was 7.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-built. The chairs are of good quality. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards and fans. Though there are classrooms which are still old, and the furniture is also not new, but it's still in good condition. In the hostels, they provide one bed, one table, one chair and one almirah per person. Wi-Fi facility is also provided, but you will have to get a router by yourself, but multiple people can use one, so the cost can be divided. The rooms are good. The bed, table, chair and almirah are not in the best condition, but they get the job done. The mess is good, the food provided is delicious and healthy. There is a variety of options for lunch and dinner, though only aaloo ke paranthe is provided for breakfast almost daily.
Faculty: The faculty members are very good and well qualified. They are very interactive, and classes are fun. The curriculum is not very difficult, but if you are from Maths background, then you are in for a ride. Although you will be taught the 11th and 12th bio in first-year, it will still be difficult to cope with for the student with a bio background, so you will have to put in more effort.
Other: The fests here are amazing. If you come to the college, don't miss out on the fests. It doesn't matter if you are participating or just there as an audience, but do attend the fest.

It is an average college with a lot of valuable opportunities.
Placements: Almost 5-10 students get placed directly every year. Most of the students go for the masters, and a very less number of students take placements. Recruiting companies include private banks and firms such as ITC. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: We have a dedicated library with all the course-related books and journals available. Classrooms are equipped with smartboards for digital learning. Labs are well-maintained for each subject. Hostels are well-maintained and provided with uninterrupted water and electricity supply. Mess food quality is above average.
Faculty: All the teachers are PhD holders in their subjects and are most ready to help. The course curriculum includes a subject that is practical-oriented and prepares students for the industry. Before the final semester exams, two prefinals are held. Semester final exams are difficult, and the average GPA is 7.5-9.

Hello Parveen! Well it depends on several factors. If you are from general category then you won't be able to secure a seat in any course. But if you are from reserved category or are from J&K region then chances are high that you'll able to get admission in one of the courses.

Students who are having state domicile are only eligible for university entrance exam. But if you want to study in GBPUA&T you can appear for ICAR UG exam and if you perform well you' ll have a chance to study in this university as ICAR candidate.
