Pantnagar University entrance exam 2019 pattern for PG course admissions is such that the question paper will contain a total of 200 multiple choice questions of 600 marks that candidates need to complete in a duration of three hours. Questions asked in the exam will be in English language only.
For further clarification on the exam pattern, candidates can refer the table below:

| Subject Matter Test | 200 (Questions to be attempted: 150) | 2 Hours 15 Minutes |
| Total | 250 (Questions to be attempted: 200) | 3 Hours |
Marking scheme: Candidates will be awarded three marks for each correct answer. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
Note: Pantnagar University entrance exam pattern might change for candidates belonging to Physical & Life Sciences group.
