INSPIRE Application Form 2026: The Department of Science and Technology (DST) will soon start the registrations for the INSPIRE Scholarship 2026 SHE. The conducting authority is expected to accept the application for the INSPIRE SHE Scholarship 2026 by the end of January 2026. All interested and eligible candidates need to complete the INSPIRE SHE application form 2026 in online mode through the official website of INSPIRE at online-inspire.gov.in before the deadline.

Click on the new user registration link for a fresh scholarship or directly fill in details and click login
Enter all the basic details as asked and submit it.
Now, login with the credentials generated and the candidate dashboard will open on the screen.
Open the scholarship link and enter personal details, current educational information, 12th class details/National level competitive exam details, other details and contact details.
Now, verify all the details and submit the same.

The INSPIRE Scholarship selection process, on average, takes at least four months from the last date of submission of the application. All selected candidates shall receive a Provisional Offer Letter on their web portal account informing them that they are selected for the scholarship. Provisionally selected students are required to log in to the online portal to download the offer letter. The list of selected and rejected students will also be displayed on the home page of the INSPIRE Web-Portal. Selected candidates will have to upload the required documents on their web-portal within the prescribed time limit (time limit mentioned in the offer letter) for further consideration by the Department.

Q: Which courses are covered under INSPIRE Scholarship?

The INSPIRE scholarship is only for basic Science courses. Students who get admission to courses based on Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology are eleigible for scholarship. Engineering, Medical and Diploma courses are not included under the INSPIRE scholarship. The course must be approved by a recognised institute.

Q: Can a student get INSPIRE with another scholarship?

No, INSPIRE Scholarship cannot be combined. Students cannot receive any other government scholarship along with the INSPIRE scholarship. Only one major scholarship is allowed at a time. If found, INSPIRE may be cancelled.
