Not even a single company visits the college because the training and placement officer is not interested in bringing the companies to our college.

College journey of an Engineer.
Placements: Our batch is of 75 students, but from the previous 75 students batch, only almost 25% got placed in Adani, Thermax, and L&T. The highest package was 35 lacs, but in the technical field company. In Adani, we got 6.75 lacs, and the average will be almost 6 lacs. More than 50% of students complete their internship in Railway, NTPC, Jindal, and Reliance.
Infrastructure: In university, our department building is new, and labs are also new. The classroom is large, and the library is also good, but the Wi-Fi facility is not yet completed; only Ethernet is available. The quality of the host is not much good because currently I am in the old hostal shwami vivekanand. Mess food is not good. The canteen is there, but the price is too high. Medical facilities are very bad, sports and games are very good; there are all games available; we have badminton, volleyball, football, and Kabaddi. Every game is promoted.
Faculty: Yes, every teacher is very helpful, and they always guide students to achieve their goal except two. Almost all faculty are very qualified. Some are very qualified. Their teaching quality is very interesting and justified. And the course curriculum is totally to make students ready for the industrial requirements. Semester exams are difficult for almost all subjects; that's why a maximum of 50% get passed.
Other: I chose this course because I don't get our desired branch because our rank in JEE was not good. But the best thing is that I chose it forcefully due to its low rank, but now it's because it's interesting to learn. I wish that here new more technical professor like robotics and manufacturing should be appointed. Events and fests are really organized, and techfests are held every two years. Campus is very crowded. Connectivity is also good, but the campus environment is not good because it's very far from the market. Here, no scholarship is provided on a university basis unless you get a state scholarship.

Review of Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya.
Placements: I am from the mechanical department. In the previous year, approximately 15 students were placed in Thermax and in Adani. The placement percentage is very low, but this year college awarded an A+ grade from NAAC, so expected it may be better. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA in core branches and the highest salary package offered is 7 LPA. The college does not provide internships and does not support internships. But in 3rd year it is compulsory to do internship during summer vacation.
Infrastructure: All departments have separate buildings with separate labs. Each department has its own separate small library with only departmental books. It also has one main big library where everyone can go and study, and it has a lot of books. In labs, there are machines, but 50% are not well working. In our department, 2 classrooms have smartboards where regular classes are held and also have a presentation. The main problem is there is no good internet in the entire college.
Faculty: Few teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are doing just government duty, so there is no little more effort. Overall, the teaching quality is average. The course curriculum should be updated and add industry-need skills that help students during job interviews. Semester exams are not hard but college does not provide sufficient time to prepare. The pass percentage depends on the subject, and in hard subjects it goes to 70%.
Other: I am doing this course because in this course I can explore lots of sectors and I am passionate about the automobile industry. The placement cell and quality of education should be improved. Each year between February and March tech fest is organised.

Here placements are quite less but the fees is less and the placements are .
Placements: In CSE branch there are 99% placements the highest packages is 15 Lacs as per records, but last time they got 30lpa the lowest package is 2lakhs per annum and avera package is six Lacs per annum for CSE course around. 20 to 30 percent of students got internships .
Infrastructure: The facilities are good it have all eg free Wi-Fi, labs are good, good classrooms big library contains all type of books there are seperate buildings for different course, green campus contains 80 % of trees and the hostel facilities are also good in hostel also free Wi-Fi, two people per room .
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified teachers but for those who came from south they cant understand properly because of language. Yes this course is curriculum relevant and it makes students industry ready and the exams system is there two minds exams contains 15 marks and the sem exams contain 60 marks 10 marks for attendance and assignments .
Other: I choose this because of less fees .

It is the worst central university in our country.
Placements: In our batch, only about 10% of students got placed in IT companies. The highest salary package was 9 LPA, and the average was about 2 LPA to 2.5 LPA. The top recruiting company is American Express. Only about 10% to 15% of students got internships in the third year at BHILAI Steel Plant.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on the whole campus of our college, but it works only in a few places, like in the central library. There are mechanical labs, but they do not have all of the necessary equipment. Classrooms are as usual, like school, with fans and non-air-conditioned. The hostel is too poor and the food is average.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful and qualified, but only a few have proper knowledge about the course. The teaching quality is average. They just teach you the theory. There is no practical knowledge, and you do not even have any industry visits. Semester exams are not that difficult. The pass percentage is as standard at 33.33%.
Other: I chose this college and this course because of my JEE performance only. They should improve the quality of teachers and please focus on practical knowledge instead of only theory. There is a tech-fest named EQUILIBRIO which happens every year, but it has only some standard events. The campus crowd is good because it is a central university and has a lot of departments. They have many types of scholarship schemes. There are not many extracurricular activities.

The college is really good for students who want to prepare for GATE.
Placements: Only 30-45% of students are placed in our college. The packages offered are approximately 6-10 LPA, and the college provides few internships. The college gives more preference to GATE students. Many students got extraordinary ranks at all India level.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and resources in our college are good. The college has all the equipment. A central library is available, where we can have all types of books. Nearly 50,000 books are available so that which can prepare for any competitive exams. Free Wi-Fi is available 24/7 in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified from IITs and NITs. The teaching quality is very good, and they follow more guidelines to teach. The teachers are ready to do anything for students to gain good knowledge. They help us more to study well.
