IPU admission for PhD programme is primarily entrance-based. The candidates are selected either through IPU CET or national-level tests conducted by various authorities. The University invites applications for admission to these courses generally in the first week of March every year. IPU has a sanctioned intake of 85% for Delhi region candidates, while the remaining 15% seats are for candidates belonging outside Delhi region. Yes, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to BSc, BCA, BCom (Hons), B.Ed, BA (JMC), BHMCT, BBA, BA (Hons), BVoc, BPT, BPO, BOT, BASLP, BSc MLT, MSc, MA, MEd, MPT, MOT and MPO courses. To get IPU (main campus- USLLS and VIPS) you need to have a total score of atleast 470 out of 650. And admission in IPU through cuet happens only after the CLAT rounds are over, so you must wait till the spot rounds.
