Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University admissions 2026 are open for various courses. The university offers various courses, including BA, BSc, BCom, MA, MSc, LLM, PhD, etc at the UG, PG and PhD levels. GGSIPU offers courses via its affiliated colleges. The University has released the official schedule for Round 1 counselling for the LLB course. The offline counselling will be held on July 8, 2026 and July 9, 2026. A few more important updates are given below:
- Common Entrance Test (CET) qualified candidates for BMS admission against reserved seats for General/ PwD/ SC/ ST/ OBC must report in person for Round 1 counselling (Verification of Documents and Allotment of Seats) on Jul 7, 2026.
- For MBA admission, the enrollment window is open till July 9, 2026 (10:00 pm) for the centralised online counselling process and uploading of educational testimonials and reserved category documents. The window for choice filling/preference of colleges/stream for the candidates will be open from July 6, 2026 to July 9, 2026.

No, Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2027 registrations have not commenced yet. The registration window will be active at cuet.nta.nic.in. NTA will release the CUET 2027 notification in first week of January. Soon after the release of the CUET official notification, the CUET registration 2027 process will commence online at the official website. Candidates willing to appear for the CUET 2027 exam must complete the application form online. Additionally, before filling application form, candidates must make sure that they have fulfilled the prescribed CUET eligibility criteria to qualify for the entrance exam.
No, GGSIPU doesn't offer direct admission. IP University does not allow any of the affiliated colleges/institutes/agencies to grant direct admission to any of the courses of the university.

Commonly asked questions On Fees Breakdown
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University's annual hostel cost is INR 29,500. Mess and welfare fees are not included in the hostel fees. The fee for the mess is INR 36,000, while the cost of the welfare is INR 3,000. Candidates need to submit three demand drafts: one for hostel fees, one for mess charges, and one for welfare charges. Two hostels are maintained on campus for male students, and two are maintained for female students. There are more than 180 single-seat rooms in each hostel. Basic furnishings such as a cot, mattress, pillow, chair, table, cupboard, tube lamp, and fan are provided in each room. Mess facilities are available for residents in each hostel. Residents also have access to a common area, a gym, a reading room, and sports facilities. For the hostels, there is a provision for 24-hour water and electrical services.
IPU MBA 2022 placement statistics are not available as of now. However, according to IPU USMS (University School of Management Studies) NIRF report 2023, the median package offered during IPU MBA placements 2022 was INR 5.60 LPA. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University BCA admission is yes but the admission will be done based on the performance of candidates in four rounds which are IPU CET entrance test, counselling round and then the admission is done.
