No, CAT is not the only exam based on which admission is granted. GGSIPU accepts the CAT percentile for MBA admission basis on which a merit list of selected candidates is released for the counselling round. Moreover, for the MBA in IT course, the university conducted IPU CET exam is accepted. In case the seats are left vacant after CAT candidates, then the seat allotment is carried out based on the candidate's CMAT scores.

Indraprastha University BTech admission is done on the basis of a valid score of JEE Main. In the case of GGSIPU admission to B Tech in Biotechnology, a candidate must take up IPU CET or CUET. The flagship programme of the university is the BTech course that is distributed over the course of four years and has eight semesters. The IPU BTech course selection is done by a centralised counselling of the course. • PhD admissions for winter session is open. The university will conduct the entrance test on Dec 22, 2025.
• The NEET UG Counselling 2025 has concluded, with the final seat allotment result of the stray vacancy round for admission to MBBS, BDS, and BSc (Nursing) courses.
• The CMAT 2026 exam is expected to be held in Jan 2026 for admission to the MBA, PGDM, and MMS courses.
• The CUET PG 2026 registration process for admission to PG courses is expected to begin in Jan 2026.
• The CUET UG 2026 registration window is expected to open in the first week of Mar 2026 for admission to UG courses.
• The NIMCET 2026 application form is anticipated to be available in April 2026 for admission to the MCA course.
• The CLAT 2026 exam for admission to the five-year Integrated LLB (UG) and one-year LLM courses will be held on Dec 7, 2025.
• The XAT registration process 2026 is now open for MBA/PGDM courses. The last date to register is Dec 5, 2025. Furthermore, the XAT 2026 exam will be held on Jan 4, 2026.
• The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/Mtech and PhD courses will be conducted on Feb 7, Feb 8, Feb 14, and Feb 15, 2026.

Aspirants who have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50%-60% aggregate are eligible to apply for MBA programme at GGSIPU. Candidates with a 50% score in graduation can also apply provided the requirement of aggregate is 50% or below. For MBA specialisations requiring 60% or above aggregate, candidates need not get admission with 50%.  

Candidates seeking admission to the GGSIPU MBA course must visit the official website of the University to apply online. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University MBA admission is based on candidates' performance in the CAT entrance examination. IPU also accepts CMAT scores. The final selection will be done on the basis of the student's performance in the Group Discussion & Personal Interview process. However, for IPU MBA in IT admission, GGSIPU conducts IPU CET, followed by a University-level counselling process. 

Yes, GGSIPU is good in terms of placements. GGSIPU placement report for 2025 is yet to be released. However, as per the overall NIRF 2025 data, the median package offered UG-4 Year was INR 8.25 LPA. The median package offered to the UG 5-year was INR 8.39 LPA. While the median packages offered to the PG 1-Year and PG 2-Year students were INR 5.35 LPA and INR 6.95 LPA, respectively.

IPU is counted among the good universities in the country. GGSIPU is ranked 1001-1200 by the QS World University Rankings 2024. In the NIRF 2024 ranking, it was ranked 80 under the "University" category. The placement data for the GGSIPU BBA course is not available as of now. The highest and average package offered stood at INR 45 LPA and INR 12 LPA, respectively for IPU Engineering (USCIT) placements 2022.

Yes, IP University offers two-year B.Ed course. Admission to the course is based on merit in IPU CET/CUET followed by counselling round. Moreover, the university also provide B.Ed (Special Education) courses in five specialisatons. Admission to the special education programmes is only through the IPU CET exam. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility requirements before filling out the application form.

GGSIPU JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been concluded for BTech, Integrated BTech and other courses. At 35000 rank in JEE Main, it is quite easy to get admission to the college. A notification regarding the counselling process through CUET is released when vacant seats are left after all rounds of counselling. Based on details mentioned in the IPU brochure, the IPU CUET counselling procedure could be in the following manner: 

STEP 1: Counselling Registeration

Candidates have to register (could be online/offline) for counselling. Details such as the aspirant name, programme code and other details have to be provided during registration. The registration fee is INR 1,500.

STEP 2: Login & Enrol

Login with the ID and password generated during registration to fill out the application. The IPU counselling processing fee is INR 1,000, which has to be paid during the enrolment for participation in the counselling procedure after registration. Fill in the details as asked and take a printout of the form and fee receipt. Document verification is carried out in online mode based on information provided by the candidate during enrolment.

STEP 3: Choice Filling/Preference Sheet

The preference sheet is available on the GGSIPU brochure. For online mode, candidates will have to visit the university's official website. It must be noted that the preference sheet is valid for only one counselling round. Hence, for each round, a new preference sheet must be filled out for each counselling round. 

STEP 4: Seat Allocation

After choice filling, seats are allotted to the candidates based on merit, respective category and region. Candidates can be asked to freeze the seat by paying a sum of fee.

GGSIPU AYUSH cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to BAMS and BHMS courses. The last round closing ranks for the General AI category candidates were 37435 and 110826 for BAMS and BHMS, respectively. Thus, the General AI category candidates can get admission to the college with 50000 rank in AYUSH. However, at this rank, candidate can get admission to BAMS but not BHMS. 

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University admission 2025 to MBBS course is based on NEET UG scores followed by NEET UG counselling. The university offers MBBS admission through two affiliated colleges including North Delhi Municipal Corporation Medical College and Hindu Rao Hospital and North Mahavir Medical College. The MCC has released NEET UG last round seat allotment results. MBBS offered through VMMC has closed at 132 and NDMC has closed on 2986.
