Faculty: Our university conducts semester exams after 6 months. The university completes its syllabus before the semester exam comes. So, it is the number one in Assam. Our university has launched a variety of courses like UG courses for 4 years, MA/MBA courses for 2 years, and UG courses. Our university conducts 16-semester exams. This course is for 4 years.

"Overall, it is one of the best universities for the M.A. in Mathematics course. "

Placements: The design was perfect last year. All top companies recruiting M.A. in Mathematics graduates, including competitors like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and more. The pay scale ranges from 13-19 LPA. The average salary package offered is 30 LPA. Almost all students who applied for jobs secured jobs, while others chose to pursue graduate school or government jobs. Top job titles are Actuary, Cryptologist, and more. Everyone has the opportunity to learn.

Infrastructure: The products at GU are outstanding. We have Wi-Fi throughout the school, and the library is open 24 hours. Computer lab is available for students who don't have phones. All classrooms are air-conditioned and are very comfortable. The food served in the restaurant and hotel is excellent. Guest rooms are comfortable. Double or triple-sharing rooms are available.

Faculty: Teachers at GU are outstanding. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience. All types of teaching methods such as demonstrations, video games, and whiteboards are used. However, there are fewer job opportunities than expected. Curriculum is well-structured and supports the growth of the student. The pass rate is 87%.

Placements: Gauhati University gives 75–80% placement in our course. In the mathematics course, the highest package was 7-8 LPA and the average package was 3-4 LPA in India. The mathematics career involves various job opportunities for graduates, such as statistician, actuary, quantitative analyst, and financial analyst.

Infrastructure: Facilities are best and the infrastructure is also good. At our university, all rooms are projector-enabled. Wi-Fi facilities are available. Inside our university canteen, a hostel and a big playground are available. Also, at our college, medical staff is available. Every year, the university organizes sports.

Faculty: Gauhati University faculty are very good, and they have intelligent teachers who help make the students industry-ready. All our teachers and professors give valuable guidance and ideas to help our final year project. Our teachers give a suggestion: our university semester exam is not difficult, and every student passes.

I was somewhat dissatisfied to be not selected for a job by any company.

Placements: About 40% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered in our course is 10 LPA, the average salary package offered is 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are media companies like News Live, DY 350, Zee News and Faculty in English Bengaluru. On average, about 60% of the students got an internship from our course in companies like Zee News, News Live, DY 365, LIC and Bajaj Allianz. Top roles offered in our course are lecturer, anchor, writer, newspaper editor and librarian.

Infrastructure: Many facilities are available for our course. Wi-Fi is available at any time and every day, and there are virtual classrooms where teachers teach using a projector. There are 2 libraries in our compound, and they are very big. Facilities in the hostel were not the best, but they were good for living. Quality of food was somewhat not good, but other facilities were good. Quality of food available in the canteen was much better than the hostel. There are medical facilities, and a hospital is nearby our college. Sports and gaming facilities are excellent, and there is a big field where we can play many sports. All sports are available in our compound.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, and they helped me in every doubt I had. Teachers were well-qualified, and all have studied English. Most of the teachers have done a PhD in English. Teachers and teaching quality were the best, and they taught properly to students. The course curriculum was relevant, and it helps students to be ready for industries and other purposes.

Other: I have chosen this course because I am very much interested in English. The best thing about our course is the proper teaching skills and friendly behaviour of teachers. Sports in our college, vocational education given by the college and the syllabus of the course were the best. I think that the syllabus could be improved by giving some interesting chapter as chapters and books are somewhat boring. Food quality of the campus was not good, which should be improved. Most of the events are held in our college, which is the best thing as due to which many people get jobs.

Placements: The succession in the rate of placements falls below 65% for the discipline of mathematics. The placement team decide which student can participate in which company drives. The median salary package offered to the hired talents in our discipline was below 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Gawhati University is a popular university and produces thousands of talents in every single new batch. Along with the highly spacious mess, a cafeteria is also present. The arrangements of alumni gatherings every year create a higher reach to the university. The addition of sports is a necessary physical activity in their schedule.

Faculty: The course syllabus included 21 papers, with five papers per semester, with four main papers and one elective paper in each semester. All those will be a mixture of basic Maths topics, and the question papers are created by the faculty members, making them more critical by varying the values.
