Good Faculty in soothing environment.

Placements: There's no placement assistance in the course (English literature). It is more like learning from some of the best professors in the country. After the degree it's your choice what path you choose. There's good campus placement opportunities in the MBA course or the professional courses.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not very great. But one can avail bare minimum standard of living there. There's no issues in transportation. Campus is full of greenery. The morning and the evening walks are soothing there. Hostels are average with all the minimum requirements available.

Faculty: The faculty and the English literature course are above average. The professors are some of the best educators of the country, extremely qualified. The libraries are full of valuable materials. Also e-materials are easily available in Gauhati University.

Gauhati University - GU is the best university in the world.

Placements: More than 65% of the students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered was around 2.3 LPA. ICICI and Maverick were the top recruiters of our college. Almost 90% of the students got an internship.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi on the campus was very fast. It helped me in making projects, documentaries, etc. Labs were very clean and the classrooms were huge. The environment was very warm and good for students. The library was the best place out there, and the food served in the canteen was very good.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful. They helped every student and make there life good. They cleared all my doubts. The course curriculum was very relevant. It helps in making students industry-ready.

Other: I opted for this course because it suits me, and it was easy. Teachers should be more polite with students. The college campus was very vibrant.

Cool and honest review.

Placements: Eighty percent and above of the students in my course were placed. The highest package offered is almost 50,000, while many top recruiting companies hire from our course. Sixty percent of students secured internships through our course.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our department are good, including Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. The quality of the hostel facilities is satisfactory, and the food in the mess and canteen is also nice. Medical facilities and sports options are very good.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. The semester exams have a pass percentage of 60%.

Other: I chose this course because I love English, particularly its literature and grammar. There’s nothing I wish would improve about our course.

If anyone likes to go with literature and wanted to be a good writer or editor it is the best option

Placements: 75% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary is INR 7.5 LPA and the lowest salary is INR 4.5 LPA. Northeast News and some local news channels from Guwahati are the main recruiters. 85% of students got an internship in Guwahati itself. Journalism in news channels and editing purposes in news and press media.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is very impressive and free inside the campus. The classrooms are clean and maintained. Everyone has maintained discipline while classes begin. Sports playground is also in good condition and medical facilities are 24 hours active for students Overall everything is upgraded.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified from top universities Inspiring students for their future projects and acknowledging everyone about the courses with scopes. This course qualifies the student to go with journalism and editing while we can also choose other fields.

Other: This course offers in acknowledging the student about English literature and the history of language.
