The college has moderate infrastructure and good teachers.
Placements: Approximately 80 to 90 percent of students from my course got placed. The highest package is approximately 10 LPA to 12 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Recruiting companies are Google and Technology and media companies.70 to 80 percent of students got internships in a private company. Top roles offered are generally a manager and a coaster host.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is moderate. There are library, labs, and computer labs. For students, there are moderate facilities like fan, chair, and desk in a classroom. Drinking water and many washrooms are available. There is a hotel of our college in decent condition and has no hostel food or mess but moderate facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers are really good and knowledgeable. Every teacher has their unique teaching skills, my personal favorite is the geography professor. The curriculum is very helpful for students to have the knowledge, and also helps them get placements. Semester exams are difficult. The passing percentage is 40 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I have passed my 12th from the arts side, so my geography and history are good and I am also interested in geography, which is the best part of the course, and that's why I chose it. The facilities, such as new projects and new materials, should be improved. There is a placement in our college, and students also get scholarships and some festivals are also held on the campus.

Dissatisfied with the infrastructure, lack of placement, and overall quality of educators.
Placements: A lot of students take admission every day in this college. Every course has a minimum of 900 students, which is pretty huge. There is a reason for it, though, as we know this college does not provide any placements. College students solely come here for the degree. The reason for this is that the college does not have a proper attendance system, which means you can roll up to any job or courses side by side while getting your degree.
Infrastructure: The buildings are old, I think they haven't been touched since the college was built, and that's problematic. Every course has its respective labs and departments. The canteen has been shut down because of poor maintenance.
Faculty: The problem with teachers and the staff is that they are a little rude. As a student who has not done anything disrespectful and performed civilly, I would not like to be treated like that, they should be a little considerate of our feelings. Overall, they are professionals ready to teach us and also advise us to come regularly and take the classes. The college will only provide the degree, it is upon us to be responsible for our studies and shape our future. The difficulty of the exam is average, it also depends on the student if they study or not.
Other: I chose this college because I am responsible for my studies. I don't need a proper organization setup like a school to pressure me to get my work done, that's why I chose this college. I wish the infrastructure could get better, because it can also lead to hygiene problems. The only event I saw happening there is by political parties, these party leaders also help students to inform them about the upcoming exams, admission process, any document issues, etc. The college also conducts extracurricular activities in different domains.

I am very happy in my college, and it is worth joining.
Placements: Passed students who have pursued BA in my college are all employed now and they are happy with it. Students got placements with package ranges from 8-9 LPA. I would recommend this college to everyone who wants to enjoy their college life peacefully and make friends.
Infrastructure: My college has modern classrooms labs a library and sports facilities. Hostel life is fun and friendly, with shared rooms, good food, and helpful staff members. It helps us become independent and build strong friendships while enjoying studies and activities.
Faculty: Faculty members in my course are experienced and supportive. They are always ready to help us. The course curriculum is well-structured, covering both theory and practical topics. Exams are held regularly and test our understanding clearly through assignments, projects, and written papers.

The campus is very beautiful and well maintained.
Placements: I am pursuing a Bachelor’s in Psychology. In my class, there are only 12 students. The placement facilities are not satisfactory. In my course, there isn’t a dedicated placement facility. However, there are various job opportunities available, such as assistant professor and guest faculty roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very nice, and the library facilities are also available. Hostels are well-managed, and the bus services are good. Sports, NSS, and NCC are also available. Hostels are allocated based on percentage. Food is satisfactory, and hygiene is maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are very well-educated. Classes are regular, and the exam conduct is also good. Semester exams are not too difficult; they are structured so that everyone can pass. The pass percentage is 33%. There are two semesters every year, and there is a different curriculum for each semester.
Other: I love Psychology, and I chose it because of my interest in the subject. I wish there were more facilities for internships and practical knowledge. Festivals and events are also conducted regularly.

The college is good and the campus is also superb.
Placements: Placements are the main issue here. Many reputed companies do not come here to provide internships to students studying in B.Tech, and many other courses. Moreover, the college is good for the tourism department as it has many placements for students pursuing a degree in the tourism department.
Infrastructure: It is quite excellent. Hostel life is also good. I did not go to the hostel, so I do not have much idea about it. Overall, the infrastructure is good. It has a good canteen area and a good garden area. It has a library, sports area, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are superb on the campus. They are very excellent professors. They taught us in a school manner (in the case of some professors only). My economics teacher taught us in a school manner. So I considered it a plus point for faculty members. In history.
Other: The campus is somewhat boring but quite good. Sometimes, it makes us bored, but sometimes, it is okay.

DAV is the pride of Dehradun.
Placements: Our college demands at least 40% in the 12th standard to give a seat in our course. College does not specially offer salary packages but the student while pursuing their graduation degree can opt for other courses. They provide a platform for students to make careers in politics and our college gave many politicians to our state.
Infrastructure: The college has various facilities including a cafeteria with a large variety of food items. Cleanliness is properly maintained in addition to this college has a library which has thousands of books offering preparation for many competitive examinations. The college also provides a special platform for extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Teachers are so helpful both inside and outside the campus. This course is majorly done by those students who have plans to serve in any type of government, defence, or any type of job. They provide proper guidance to students. Semester exams are not too tough and students solve them easily if they are practicing for competitive exams.
Other: I prefer this course due my passion for serving as a government employee. So while pursuing my Graduation I can prepare for Exams. The course does not need any type of modification It is perfect as it is.

A good college with under qualified faculty, average placements in 2024, average infrastructure.
Placements: Placements were good but not that good; they were average. Half of the students were placed. The highest package till now was around 8 LPA. The top recruiters were GrantThornton, CIPLA, Azim Premji Foundation, Yara Fertilisers India Pvt. Ltd., and PRODESK. Honestly, the placements were not top-notch but average.
Infrastructure:
The infrastructure of the college was average, and Wi-Fi was available, but the password was not told to students. The classrooms were in good condition. Talking about hostels, they were in bad condition. Most people preferred private rooms over hostels. The food in hostels was bad.
Faculty:
Most of the teachers were underqualified, but a few of them were really knowledgeable and knew what they were doing. The course curriculum was well designed. The semester exams were not hard; they were pretty easy, quite frankly. The passing percentage is 33 percent.
Other:
I chose this course as it was in my interest, and HNBGU is a very popular university in India. A little syllabus updation and more motivated teachers would have made a big impact. The college hosts many fests and events yearly where famous personalities like Ajay Houda, Jubin Nautiyal, and Narendra Singh Negi perform. The college surroundings were good with a lot of food outlets and many different shops.
