IGNOU BBA Courses & Fees 2025: Eligibility, Admission, How to Apply, Curriculum

IGNOU offers a three-year BBA programme in Retailing specialisation at the undergraduate level. The programme is of 96 credits comprising of all compulsory courses along with an internship and On the Job Training (OJT) in the first, second and third year, respectively. The programme is offered with a modular approach as mentioned below:

• First-year: Diploma in Retailing (DIR)
• Second-year: Advanced Diploma in Retailing (ADIR)
• Third-year— Bachelor of Business Administration (Retailing)
• Three months internship in the first year and OJT subsequently in the second and third year
• A viva voce after submission of the workbook for are only exit points.

Eligibility for Category A, i.e. Direct Entry:

• A pass in Class 12 or its equivalent
• University provides reservation of seats as per Government of India rules

Eligibility for Category B, i.e. Sponsored Admission:

Sponsors are allowed to nominate employees, who have passed Class 12 or its equivalent from their Retail organisation. The sponsor will submit a letter on the company’s letter head issued by the competent authority along with an application form of the candidate nominated with the programme fee through a DD drawn in favour of ‘IGNOU payable at New Delhi’.

Medium of instruction: English

Duration: Three to six years; offered only July cycle of admissions.

IGNOU BBA Fees 2025

IGNOU BBA fee ranges from INR 27,000 to INR 60,000. Some amount of this total fee is to be paid at the time of admission for seat confirmation. This fee amount is as per the official website/ sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.
