IGNOU BSc Courses & Fees 2025: Admission, Eligibility, Application, Placements

IGNOU BSc PB Nursing admission is done based on merit in the IGNOU OPENNET exam. IGNOU course admission to other BSc programmes is merit-based. Candidates seeking admission must check the minimum eligibility requirements for selection. Eligible students can further fill out the application form to apply for admission. STEP 1: IGNOU BSc Application Process 2025

The IGNOU BSc and BSc (Hons) application process is completely online. Candidates willing to apply must visit the official website and apply. A step-by-step process of IGNOU application is as follows:

Step 1.1: Visit the official website of IGNOU. Click on 'Register Online and then on 'Fresh Admission'.

Step 1.2: In the next window, select ' Click here for New Registration'.

Step 1.3: Register online by adding all the required details.

Step 1.4: Log in using the credentials created during the registration process, fill out the form, pay the application fee and submit it.

List of documents required for IGNOU application process:

• Passport size photograph
• Identity card
• Academic certificate(s)
• Birth certificate or documentary proof of birth
• Experience certificate, if applicable

STEP 2: Selection

The selection for admission to the PB BSc Nursing course is through the OPENNET exam. Admission to other courses is carried out on a merit basis. After the exam, a selection list shall be published to declare names of candidates eligible for admission. Candidates can check out the IGNOU admission status page to know their application status. IGNOU also notifies students about their admission confirmation or rejection through an email and a text message in the next two months.

STEP 3: Admission Confirmation

After the selection is done, candidates can pay the admission fee amount for seat confirmation. IGNOU BSc tuition fees range between INR 10,500 to INR 43,500. This fee amount is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative.
