- The TNEA 2026 supplementary counselling registration for admission to the BE/BTech programme has concluded. The complete schedule will be provided soon.
- The IMU CET 2026 counselling process for admission to the BTech, BSc, MBA, and MTech courses has now ended.
- The TANCET 2026 counselling process for admission to the MCA and MBA programme has concluded.
IMU Chennai Highlights 2026
IMU is a central university established under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Government of India. It is known as a teaching-cum-affiliating university. Below are the Indian Maritime University highlights:
- Popular programmes: BTech and BSc are the flagship courses available at the university.
- Admission 2026: MHT CET, JEE Main, IMUCET, etc are the accepted entrance tests for admission to the BTech, BSc, etc courses.
- Fees: The total tuition fee for the BTech course is INR 4.6 lakh - INR 18.6 lakh.

Candidates who have been issued with IMU CET Rank Certificate are provided with a portal through which they can select the Programme (s) and the Campus (es) where they desire to take admission. Candidates have to register on this portal by making an online payment of INR 10,000/- towards the Counselling Fee. The Counselling Fee is nonrefundable if a seat is allotted on any campus in any programme; else INR 9000 will get refunded. The Candidate should choose multiple options in the order of their preference for:
