2. The alumni of IIIT Hyderabad have set up a fund to support successfully admitted students based on need. The assistance is provided on a pay-it-forward* basis. In a Pay-it-forward scheme, students agree to pay the tuition fees of another student, after they successfully and start earning. The fund provides the below support

• Financial support to students whose family income is below 8 LPA from the second semester, subject to availability and meeting the pre-defined criteria
• Students above the income threshold can also apply and may be granted tuition support if their case is found worthy by the committee

IIIT Hyderabad admission to the BTech intergrated courses is based on candidates' performance in the IIITH UGEE entrance exam. The admission procedure at IIIT Hyderabad is completely online and entrance-based for BTech. Admission to BTech at IIIT Hyderabad is done on the basis of a valid score in one among JEE Main/ UGEE/ Olympiad (KVPY) exams. Candidates seeking admission via JEE Main are required to appear for the exam and have a valid score before IIIT Hyderabad application.
