The admission procedure at IIIT Hyderabad is completely online and entrance-based for BTech. Admission to BTech at IIIT Hyderabad is done on the basis of a valid score in one among JEE Main/ UGEE/ Olympiad (KVPY) exams. Candidates seeking admission via JEE Main are required to appear for the exam and have a valid score before IIIT Hyderabad application. For other modes of admissions, students can apply online on the official website. Hence, yes, it is possible to can into the institute without JEE Main. Those who wish to apply without JEE can appear for the admission process basis a different admission criteria and process.

• State Bank of India (IIIT branch) assures an SBI Scholar student loan to a candidate who secures admission at IIITH for up to INR 20 lakh. Also, one can avail of the loan even if the family of the applicant has other existing loans
