It is great according to the fee structure.
Placements: If you are working on your skills, plus your network is great within some of the clubs, it will be the golden spoon. Additionally, if you can get into Manan - the techno, sure, it will make it easier for you to ace. Top recruiting companies are Samsung and Google.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are average. But the main issue is the lockdown time. You have to get in before 6:30 PM sharp. Food quality is adjustable. You can access game pros. The medical facility is great. There is Wi-Fi in the hostel. Water is a bit salty. Cleaning is done regularly. There is a cafeteria where you can chill.
Faculty: No detention criteria if you have less than 75 percent attendance, rather there will be a semester back according to it. Computer department teachers are great, understanding and more friendly than other departments. No, as such pressure of non-core subjects. You can easily focus on upgrading your skills.
Other: The IT course had the highest placement in past. There are ongoing changes after the new vice chancellor. Festivals are being resumed from now on. Clubs are actively involved in organising successful events. The main highlight is the scholarship. You can get your fee waived for one semester per year.

Affordable college with great learning environment and placements.
Placements: Around 95% students get placed in the IT branch (those who are eligible). The average package is around 7-8 LPA for IT and around 9 LPA for Computer Engineering. Top recruiters include Amazon, Google, Capgemini, Deloitte, Infosys, and mass recruiters such as TCS and Wipro. Many get internships, off-campus too.
Infrastructure: Labs are good, classrooms have projectors, and library is decent enough. The hostel is available only for girls. Boys' one is demolished. Sports ground, canteen (the best thing here), and medical facilities are available. A bank is also on the college campus for ease. Overall, it's still improving.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and helpful, at least better than what I have heard about other colleges. Curriculum is updated and industry-oriented. The best thing here I like is workshops, where we get to know so many new things. Exams are moderate, but the checking is a bit strict, passing percentage is around 80% I guess, not sure. The attendance factor is also here, with a minimum 75% to be maintained, but teachers can give a relaxation of 10% for valid reasons.
Other: Good return on investment for the fees. Quality teaching, nice exposure as it's in NCR. I think it's worth it for serious students. Friendly and talented crowd, and the seniors are really helpful. Tech and cultural fests are also fun. Many fun clubs for coding, dance, drama, and many more. Great metro connectivity.

JC Bose information about its courses, placements, faculty members, infrastructure, etc.
Placements: There are about 300-360 students currently admitted to computer engineering which includes IT, data science, and core branch. Also, CE and Hindi which I personally do not recommend since there is not much of a history for the students to get placed through this branch. But if we talk overall, the placements for computer engineering are good in our university if compared to any other institute in Haryana after NIT Kurukshetra.
Infrastructure: Our infrastructure is not so good it still feels like school but we do have a decent library for now which will be expanding soon as well. Wi-Fi is also provided on the campus. There is the facility for dedication and canteen but the mess is down right now.
Faculty: The fact is that all teachers have great knowledge since it is a government college. But not all of them are good at explaining. The truth is that they follow their own point of view and do not listen to every student in need. But it's not the case with everyone since few of them emphasis asking our doubts and clearing them.

University is good overall as compared to fees but placements are not upto the mark.
Placements: Placements are decent. About 60% of students are placed in our batch. The highest package of 2024 was 22 LPA by Google to 3 students one of the CS branch and the other of ENC. The average package of 2024 was 3 LPA. Major companies visited are Samsung, ION, Yamaha Motors, Havells, Vishal Mega Smart, Docquity, etc. Only 40% of students get on-campus internships. Others are still trying off-campus. Roles are majorly of SDE & GET.
Infrastructure: University campus infrastructure is average. Labs and classrooms are well-furnished. All necessary items and equipment are available. Library consists of more than 50,000 books, magazines, newspapers, journals, etc. There is also a small dispensary for any medical emergency.
Faculty: Professors are helpful to an extent. They are also qualified and knowledgeable. Our curriculum is relevant only upto some subjects. It doesn't make the students industry-ready. Even the semester exams in our college are little bit hard. One has to study hard to pass the exams.
Other: I chose this course because of high placement rate in the market rate but not upto the standard in the college. Still rely on the old curriculum and should update it.

I am satisfied with this college because there are amazing statics placements for higher branches.
Placements: Almost 97% of students get placement in the IT course in 2024 with an average salary package of 7 LPA. Top companies like Google, Adobe, Amazon, etc., visit the college for placements. It is difficult to get an internship here, and only 30% of students get internships. The highest salary package offered in the IT course is 15.57 LPA which is less this year. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: There are no hostels for boys, which is very bad. Boys can stay in college up to 6 PM only. The campus is too small and spread over 22 acres. There are hostels for girls, and they cannot enter or exit the college after 6 PM. Campus life is very bad. It is not good for sports students due to a small campus.
Faculty: Teachers at our college YMCA Faridabad are very good. They have amazing teaching methods with a good amount of knowledge. But here the course curriculum is not so much relevant as they teach us from books which will not help us in future. The difficulty level of exams is very low, and papers are so easy. Only 2-3% of students fail in the exams.

College offers decent placements and learning, but infrastructure and curriculum need improvement.
Placements: Around 60 percent of students in the Information Technology course were placed. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Media.Net and others. Around 30 percent of students secured internships. Top role offered is primarily software development Engineer (SDE).
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure for the Information Technology department are average with basic labs, classrooms, and access to Wi-Fi, though some equipment needed updating. Library has sufficient resources but could benefit from more digital access. Hostel facilities are manageable but not very modern and food in the mess and canteen is decent but lacked variety. Medical facilities are available for basic needs and sports infrastructure supports common games but requires better maintenance.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, providing valuable guidance in both academics and practical applications. Teaching quality is above average, with a good mix of theoretical and practical learning. Course curriculum is fairly relevant, offering industry-aligned subjects and projects that prepare students for real-world challenges. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, testing both understanding and application, with a high pass percentage indicating effective teaching and support for students.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in technology and want to build a career in IT. Best parts of the course are the hands-on projects, practical learning, and helpful teachers. But, the course could improve by including more updated topics and better lab facilities. Campus has fun events and fests, and students are friendly and diverse. Surroundings are average, and connectivity to the campus is decent. Scholarships are available for those who qualify, and there are good opportunities for extracurricular activities.

Average placement, fees are low, and infrastructure is improving.
Placements: B.Tech IT 2024 batch passout, 60% of the students were actually placed in campus placements. Companies like Accenture, TCS, and many mass recruitment companies visited. The highest package was 14 LPA and the lowest was 3.25 LPA, with Software Engineer being the top offered role.
Infrastructure: The labs are good, but the classrooms are old and Wi-Fi does not work at all. Currently, there is no hostel available for boys. Canteen and sports facilities are average. New buildings are being constructed, but the area where the college is located is not very good. Medical facilities are available but are not very helpful.
Faculty: The faculty is mostly contractual; only some know the course material, and nothing industry-relevant is taught. Semester exams are easy, with a pass percentage of 30%. Students need to study on their own as the teachers are not very effective; some of the younger ones show interest in teaching, while others do not.
Other: There is a good ROI since the fees are low. The college would benefit from better teachers and more security. The crowd mainly consists of locals, which can be challenging.

Average infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The number of students placed from Mechanical Engineering is comparatively more than Computer and Information Technology Engineering. This year, Samsung comes to our college for placement for Computer Science Engineering students. In Information Technology, 60 lakhs is the highest package.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. Yes, Wi-Fi is available in the entire campus. Many computer labs are there, mainly for programming classes. Classrooms are quite good, and yes, our college has a good library that offers many different books.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable enough to teach us well. The teaching quality is also nice. The curriculum is relevant; yes, it is related to placement procedures and all. It also includes Bhagwat Geeta in the 2nd year.
Other: B.Tech is an amazing course itself.
