Admission Process

Register and Apply
Interested candidates can apply online with the required information.
Entrance Test
Eligible candidates need to appear for the Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam (JNUEE). All foreign nationals present in India will be required to appear in the JNUEE.
Personal Interview
Shortlisted candidates (including foreign nationals) will be called for personal interview based on the rank obtained in JNUEE.
Final Selection
Admission is based on the rank in the JNUEE, performance in viva- voce and deprivation points awarded, if applicable. Separate merit lists will be prepared for each category i.e. candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, PH categories. For Foreign Nationals, admission is based on the rank in JNUEE or performance in academic (if applying through 'In-Absentia' category).
