    Q:   Is DU admission open?
    A:

DU admission is open. Admission in Delhi University is based on CUET-UG and CUET-PG scores. Below are the upcoming events for DU admission:

    • The registrations are open for BTech course till Jun 6, 2025. Candidates having a valid score in JEE Main can apply.
    • The university has released the interview shortlists for PhD Admission 2025 (Phase-II). The interview will be held on Jun 6, 2025.
    • Delhi University PG Admission 2025 is open through CUET PG 2025. The seat allotment to all the PG courses of the university will be done through a Common Seat Allocation System PG 2025. Candidates can register till Jun 6, 2025.
    • The CUET PG 2025 result has been released for admission to PG courses. Candidates who appeared in the exam can view and download their scorecards by using their login details on the official website.
    • The CUET UG 2025 exam is ongoing for admission to UG courses, and the last date is Jun 3, 2025.
Q:   Can I take admission to DU with 60% in Class 12?
    A:

DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.

However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).

Q:   How many marks are required in CUET to get admission in DU?
    A:

Students can check the subject and some college wise CUET cut off for last year and predict their chances of admission through CUET this year. Check the table below to know the expected DU CUET cut off 2024:

The admissions in DU are made through entrance exams and thus, there is no percentage wise cut off criteria for MA admissions (although you need to have a minimum 60% in you bachelor's to sit for the entrance). The score cards for these entrances come as results which are later used for admission. B
