JNU has not released its 2023 placements report as of now. However, considering the NIRF report 2023, PG 2-year candidates received placement offers in the JNU 2022 placements. As per the overall report, the median package offered to the selected candidates stood at INR 7.95 LPA. A marginal decline of nearly 1% can be seen in the PG 2-year median package offered in 2022 as compared with 2021. Moreover, many top companies recruit JNU graduates every year. JNU M.Tech admission to all the specialisations is now through CUET-PG. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirements can apply for the course.  The step-by-step process to apply for CUET PG to take admission in an MTech course in JNU is as follows:

Step 1: Visit the official website of NTA (cuet.nta.nic.in).

Step 2: Register by filling out all the mandatory details.

Step 3: Login with the generated application number and password and start filling out the application form.

Step 4: Upload the scanned photograph and signature in the given dimensions.

The key highlights of JNU placements for UG and PG programs in 2024 are presented below:

Admission to Jawaharlal Nehru University BA (Hons) in Foreign Languages, BSc-MSc Integrated Programme in Ayurveda Biology and Certificate of Proficiencey (COP) courses is through CUET (UG). Only the aspirants with a valid score of CUET are eligible to take admission in these courses. Moreover, the application for the same has to be submitted by visiting the JNU admission portal. 

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) offers courses including BTech and BA (Hons) at the undergraduate level. At the postgraduate level, JNU offers a two-year full-time MBA, MA, MTech, MSc, MCA, MPH and PGD courses. At the doctorate level, the University offers PhD courses covering several specialisations. JNU also offers Certificate of Proficiency (COP) courses as well. The fee, eligibility and selection criteria vary from one course to another. 

To get admission to JNU for BTech specialisations, candidate must have a valid rank in JEE Main. The cutoff was released for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering and B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, for which the last round closing ranks were 33509 and 47591, respectively.

Therefore, 30000 in JEE Main is a good rank to get admission at JNU. 

No, candidates can get admission to JNU without CUET if applying for UG and PG courses. To get admission at Jawaharlal Nehru University, candidates must appear for th CUET exam. JNU admission to most of the UG, PG and Diploma courses are based on candidates' performance in the CUET-UG & CUET-PG scores. For JNU MBA admission 2025, CUET-PG is not valid and is dependent on CAT scores.  Also, PhD admissions do not require CUET.
