Yes, candidates seeking admission to the JNU MA course must appear for the CUET-PG entrance exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The students are admitted on merit based on their performance in the entrance test and the deprivation points are added to their score in accordance with the approved admission Policy and Procedures of the University. The total tuition fee of BSc at JNU is INR 864 to INR 3.1 lakh. This number is taken from the official website of college. It can change. Candidates need to pay the course fee to confirm their allocated seats.

JNU GATE cutoff 2026 was released up to round 3 for admission to the M.Tech course and its various specialisations.

For the General AI category, the round 3 cutoff was 382 for the M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering course. Admission to the M.Tech. in Computer Science and Technology course was closed in the 2nd round itself, with a minimum score of 573.

CAT application process for the current year has already been concluded. The exam has also been conducted. The results and answer key are expected to be released at the iimcat.ac.in website. The CAT 2026 registration dates are not announced yet.

There are over 965 seats for MA courses. The seat reservation policy is carried out as per a set of rules. Reservation of seats in various programmes of study for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (Non Creamy Layer (NCL) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category is 15%, 7.5%, 27% and 10%, respectively. As per the provisions of Rights of Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Act, 2016, not less than 5% seats are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities.
