Karunya University admissions are completely based on merit and entrance exam scores. For UG courses, candidates a must pass Class 12 and PG courses, candidates must complete graduation. The selection of admission is confirmed on entrance exam scores/merit-based, verification of the original mark sheet, community certificate and other relevant documents. 

Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences offers a two-year MSc course divided into four semesters. Karunya University (deemed-to-be) offers MSc in three specialisations, namely Biotechnology, Food Science & Technology and Agriculture. Candidates who have completed bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for any of the MSc specialisations

The total fee of MSc ranges between INR 1.63 Lacs and INR 2.65 lakh. The fee, excludes exam fee, professional development and placement training fees. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Candidates will also require to pay a registration fee to apply for admission.
