Mixed feelings towards my college.
Placements: My batch has about 49 students it's a 50-seat course. About our college placement drive it's not so good the companies coming are not for everybody I didn't like the companies I expected more. From my batch, no one yet got an internship except for one guy who did it himself not with college help.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is pretty decent. The library is also good. Our department is also a decent one. Labs are very good. About the canteen and food, those are so good we love it. About sports and games, our college is pretty much active in it so many sports events are conducted on sports day. Our depth always wings the overall.
Faculty: Our teachers are good educative and supportive. They always try to make us better but the course curriculum is kind of bad. It provides you with all theory knowledge but no practical skills and knowledge can be gained. Sem exams are not soo easy you must study. The pass percentage is less than 50 in our college.

To be honest I am really disappointed with the experience in this college.
Placements: Even though the college offers huge placement offers, it's totally for their marketing. There are very few placements here, and the companies which approach are also not that big. They give false hope about placements, and the fees collected here are of no use for this experience.
Infrastructure: The campus area is very small, and the sports turf is not multi-sports. Also, the size of the turf is not enough. The facilities inside the college are also very poor. They don't even have projectors in the classroom. Even though the college has an elevator, it's turned off most of the time.
Faculty: Faculty members are mostly highly qualified. Most of them hold PhDs and are very experienced. Also, most of their teaching ability is quite good. The behavior of some of the faculty members has felt bad and overly strict, but overall I'm quite satisfied with their teaching skills.
Other: The college should have been bigger. Also, the campus life is boring. The functions which are conducted in this college are of very low budget, and even the auditorium is very small for all students to sit. And also improve their management.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2018

My BBA from the KVVS College.
Placements: This college was giving placement opportunities to the BBA students. In our batch of 123 students, around 48 get successfully placed and others opt for the master degree. The average package offered was between 3 and 5 LPA. The top roles offered in our course was technical support, associate, CRM, etc.
Infrastructure: This college had an average infrastructure for the BBA. College management was supportive and helpful to the students. Our college was offering facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, libraries, canteens, etc. to its students. The quality of these facilities was good enough. Hostel and sports facilities were also given to the students.
Faculty: The faculty at the college was the best. All the professors at the college were really helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. All the teachers were experienced and supportive. The course curriculum of our college was relevant and it was making the students industry-ready. Semester exams were not hard to pass at our college.

This college has good infrastructure and a good atmosphere.
Placements: About 85% of students were placed in this course. Companies mainly offered marketing jobs to students. Around 60% of students were placed in Technopark and Infopark. Top companies offered internships and placements to students.
Infrastructure: High-tech classrooms, a library, Wi-Fi, labs, and playgrounds were available. A hostel facility was not available on campus. A good canteen was available for students. All kinds of information get from the library. Wi-Fi was available for all students on campus.
Faculty: Well-educated and trained teachers took the classes. It was interesting. The pass percentage was 80%. They helped students to score good marks in the exams. Internal exams were conducted before semester exams. It helped students with their semester exams.
Other: It was a professional course. Most students in this course work in the professional world. The college must conduct events, fests, and extracurricular activities. It should provide scholarships.

It is a good college for studies, but it is very strict, and the campus life is not good.
Placements: There are no placements in our course. Students in other courses get placed in different multinational companies. Almost 50% of students get internships and jobs. My friends got jobs soon after they graduated. Our college conducts walk-in interviews. They are not exclusive to students here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The classrooms are huge and clean. If anyone has any health problems, they will give a specific room for that. Hostel facilities are good but very strict. Wi-Fi is not provided. Lab facilities are available for certain departments. Limited sports facilities are available on our campus.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good. They want their students to graduate with high grades, so they will try their best to give them what they expect. Semester exams are mildly harder, but if you study hard, it will be easy to score a high percentage of marks in each subject. Our college follows Kerala University curriculum. Faculty members are well-qualified, and they are available whenever you need them. They give special revision classes when semester exams start.
Other: I opted for this course because I like to learn about business and management techniques. This college is good for studying, but the campus rules and regulations are very strict. They conduct functions and events for certain festival seasons like Onam, Christmas, etc. If students try to celebrate more, they take the situation under their control. I am not satisfied with the campus rules and strictness.

BBA in Logistics - Batch of 2024
Offered by St.Michael's College, Cherthala
3.8
2Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Really good infrastructure and teaching, best for sports enthusiasts.
Placements: I have 89% in 12th and I got BBA Logistics in SMC since the course was introduced just 2 years back, the first batch isn't passed out, they are studying 3rd year. We don't have internship programme in our college for this course. Logistics coordinator and supply chain manager are top roles offered for logistics graduates. I would prefer to pursue an MBA after graduation, other you will stuck in the bottom level of the industry. Top companies recruiting BBA / B.Com Logistics graduates include M.Sc. SHIPPING, Amazon & Flipkart etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of SMC is nice & there is a big ground for practising sports and also a shooting range, which is also accessible to public (rifle club members). We have Wi-Fi in our college office, not for students. Classrooms are good enough and most of them are very old as the college is started almost 6 decades ago. And we have a Christian management there so there is also a prayer hall at the entrance. We have a double floor Library and is quite place to read books, it has a huge number of books varying from comic novels to research level guide. Finally sports, SMC is famous it's sports encouraging nature, almost all district level competitions take place in our college. And there few students in our class who got admission in sport quota.
Faculty: Teachers and very helpful and well qualified, they also share information apart from academic syllabus, like which course is best after this, which college should we go for best placements, how to study a particular subject on exam basis etc. Yes, the curriculum is relevant, but I don't think it only makes the students ready for the industry. Proper training or internship is essential before getting into an industry, especial in a field like logistics. SMC is providing good training for B.Voc students. Semester exams aren't cake walk as the college is affiliated to Kerala University. But the Pass percentage is high & we can focus on our studies as there is no politics or other distractions in our college.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to do BBA (in any stream), but now I have heard about scope of logistics industry and I'm thinking of doing MBA after graduation. The best thing about this course is it is a globally booming industry and the jobs opportunities after graduation are pretty high. The improvement I would suggest is to provide internship programme in final semester. SMC is not providing that part of campus life, which is full of celebration and events. There are numerous extra curricular activities, about 24 clubs, NSS & NCC etc. Scholarships are provided as per the government rules. Surroundingsbare nice, the college situated at the side of National Highway -44. Campus is nice & has a store room for stationary items, canteen, library and few places to spend time with friends.
