King George's Medical University (KGMU) offers a PG-level MD course for three years. This course is offered across 20 specialisations. Admission to this course at KGMU is entirely based on the NEET PG entrance exam, which is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). The final seat allotment is done based on UP NEET PG (Counselling).
KGMU MD admissions 2023 are entirely based on a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to PG level Medical courses. KGMU accepts admission to most of the Medical courses through a valid score in NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the sole entrance test for admission to the BDS and MBBS programmes in India. Commonly asked questions On MD Fees
The NEET SS application fee is INR 3,500. The fee is same for candidates belonging to each category. This is the application fee for each group. Hence, candidates planning to apply for two groups will have to pay INR 7,000 (3,500 + 3,500). The fee has to be paid in online mode, via credit/debit card or net banking. NBE states, "Applications forms once submitted cannot be withdrawn. Fee shall neither be carried forward to a future date nor refunded under any circumstances. Application once submitted cannot be withdrawn. Any claim for refund, adjustment or carrying forward of Application fee will not be entertained. Examination fees in respect of candidates who are absent or have been declared ineligible due to any reason will be forfeited." As compared to last year, the fee has been reduced. Last year, the fee amount was INR 4,250 for each group.
The NEET SS 2025 application form is expected to be released by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) in the first week of November 2025. Along with the NEET SS 2025 application form, NBEMS will also release the notification and information bulletin. The NEET SS application process is completely online. Candidates have to visit the official website of NBEMS and go to the NEET SS exam section. After that, they have to read the complete instructions before registration, followed by the application. The NEET SS 2025 exam will be conducted on December 26 and December 27, 2025.
NEET PG schedule involves dates of events related to exam. Whole schedule is released by exam conducting body along with the official information brochure. From last few years, the exam is getting delayed from its usual schedule. NEET PG 2023 exam was held in March while NEET PG 2022 exam in May. In 2021, the exam was held in september. NEET PG exam used to be held in January before Corona. NEET PG 2024 exam was held on August 11, 2024. While filling NEET SS application form, candidates have to upload following documents or files:
