DM stands for Doctor of Medicine, which is a super-specialised course in the field of Medical. Candidates can only pursue this course after getting a PG degree in Medical. For admission to a three-year DM course at KGMU, aspirants must get a PG degree in either MD/ MS or any equivalent from a recognised institution recognised by Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. Admission to this course is entirely based on NEET SS entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for DM is standard for all NEET SS aspirants. 

Yes, KGMU offer scholarships to students as financial assistance. King George's Medical University (KGMU) offers various scholarships to undergraduate, postgraduate, and various other course students as financial assistance. KGMU NEET UG cutoff 2024 has been concluded for admission to the MBBS and BDS courses. For KGMU, round 4 was the last-round for BDS. For MBBS, round 3 was the concluding round for the General AI category students seeking admission in 2024. As per the KGMU MBBS cutoff 2024, the latest (last-round) cutoff was 2059. Yes, KGMU offers hostel facilities to its students. Candidates from general category are required to pay INR 48,100 (With Hostel charges) and 43,200 (Without Hostel charges). However, OBC/ SC/ ST category students are required to pay INR 42100 (With Hostel charges) and INR 37200 (Without Hostel charges).

Candidates seeking admission to the BSc programme offered at King George's Medical University are required to meet the minimum KGMU BSc eligibility criteria. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and, English with at least 50% aggregate (40% aggregate for candidates who belong to reserved category) from any recognised Board can apply for admission to KGMU BSc course.

Presently, KGMU offers admission to MBBS course on 250 seats. Candidates are selected based on a valid rank obtained in NEET UG entrance exam. At KGMU, all the seats are filled with UP state NEET UG counselling process, which is conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) particularly for the state colleges of KGMU. Admission to MBBS at KGMU is done via NEET UG scores. To apply for MBBS course at KGMU, aspirants must go through the application process of NEET UG.  The applicants must register, fill out the application form, upload all the scanned images for required documents and make payment of the application fee.  The NTA increased the NEET 2023 application fee by INR 100 for all categories and INR 1,000 for selecting exam cities outside India. The category-wise NEET UG registration fee is tabulated below:

KGMU accepts NEET PG scores for the admission to MD and MS specialisations. Recently, KGMU cutoff 2024 Round 2 seat allotment has been released by the institute. As per the cutoff data, the Round 2 ranged between 295 and, 101494 for the General AI category candidates. Among all the courses, the most desirable course among candidates was MD in Radiodiagnosis.

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, the opening rank was 20731 and the closing rank was 25581. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state.
