Satisfactory placements in 2017, awesome faculty but the infrastructure is not good.
Placements: I'm a 2017 pass out from MLN Medical College, Allahabad which is affiliated to KGMU, Lucknow. Placements from our college were amazing last year. In comparison with our seniors, the placement percentage was 25% more. In our batch, there were 75% placements. The highest salary offered to one of my colleagues was of 5.2 lacs per annum and the lowest was I think 2.8 lacs per annum. Some renowned companies that visited were Dr Lal Pathlabs, Pathkind labs, SRL diagnostics and some local companies were Kirti scanning centre, Anoop labs, Prithvi diagnostics, etc. We were selected for making smear examination, HPF examination, and culture plate examination. There are enough vacancies for internships, even some outsiders came here for the internships. During the internship, we got Rs. 3000 per month. There is a placement cell and it is quite efficient.
Infrastructure: There are 5 labs including microscopic examination, irradiation related examination and one separate lab for HIV smear examination. There is no Wi-Fi facility available. The lecture theatres are large enough. There is a well-furnished library with enough books. The sports are average. The food quality is not bad. There is no hostel for pathology students. Infrastructure is just okay because the college was established 58 years ago.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, Dr Vatsala Mishra is among the best pathologists in India. The faculty is well-qualified and supportive. The teaching method is projector and blackboard based. There is no industry exposure.
Other: There are many events conducted related to pathology in a year. A fest named euphoria is organised every year during December. The campus crowd is awesome, and the college is very close to the bus and railway station. State government scholarships are available.

A great place to master your medical skills and has a good infrastructure.
Placements: 75-80% of the students got the internship in the college after doing MBBS. The stipend provided is Rs. 7.5 thousand per month. There is no placement cell. The internship is quite helpful to master clinical skills. The patient number is quite high, so you get to practice a lot. The seniors guide you throughout your internship.
Infrastructure: The KGMH campus has a modern teaching block (Kalam centre) with projector screen, a central library, a playground, tennis court, and basketball court. The classrooms are centrally air-conditioned with comfortable seating. The hostel rooms are above average with all facilities like RO water, sufficient washrooms, bathrooms. The food is below average in canteens.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified, and knowledge is updated. The teaching is via lectures, demonstrations, bedside teaching and practical duties. The student-faculty ratio is roughly 20-25:1. The course is very helpful to garner your skills. The matter of lecture is based on the latest standard books and journals.
Other: Rhapsody fest was held every year in December last week. The scholarship is given to the student who is from the low family income for all caste and category. Annual sports day is held in November.

Absolutely fantastic college.
Placements: Here, there are good chances of placement. Even if placements are not directly provided, people approach you for jobs because of the college's reputation. You will meet directly with patients and learn how to deal with them and calm them. The teachers also help you a lot; you just need to maintain discipline.
Infrastructure: It provides a library for extra studies, and the hostel facilities are also satisfying. The canteen is very good, especially my favorite paneer parathas from Baba Canteen. The Neta CV hall is the best, and you can walk around campus in the evening. There's a garden along with a temple that provides peaceful evenings.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and provide direct exposure to patients, allowing students to learn in a practical way. The percentage provided here is good, and you will gain all the practical knowledge you need. Exams are also conducted under CCTV cameras, so there is no chance of cheating, which encourages you to be a good student.
Other: I was interested in this course, and the best part is that it provides knowledge about diseases. The college conducts many events, and scholarships are also available.
