NEET rank and scores are not required if candidates want to seek admission to the BSc Nursing programme offered at King George's Medical University. The aspirants must appear for the Uttar Pradesh Common Nursing Entrance Test (UP CNET) if they want to get admission to the KGMU BSc Nursing course. 

KGMU Lucknow offers direct admission to only BSc aspirants. For BSc course, the selection is based on the last qualifying exam of Class 12. DM stands for Doctor of Medicine, which is a super-specialised course in the field of Medical. Candidates can only pursue this course after getting a PG degree in Medical. For admission to a three-year DM course at KGMU, aspirants must get a PG degree in either MD/ MS or any equivalent from a recognised institution recognised by Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. Admission to this course is entirely based on NEET SS entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for DM is standard for all NEET SS aspirants.

Admissions to DM at KGMU is entirely done via NEET SS scores. To apply for KGMU DM admissions, candidates are required to appear for NEET SS entrance exam in the first place. For that, aspirants must fill an online application form on the official website of NEET SS. The application fee for NEET SS is INR 4,425. The step-wise application process  for KGMU is given below:

Step 1: Visit the official website and register yourself.

Step 2: No candidate can register for more than one application

Step 3: Fill the application form with all the mandatory details.

Step 4: Pay the application fees online through debit/ credit card/ net banking.

Step 5: Check the status of your application including images in your ‘My Page’ section.

NBE conducted the NEET SS 2023 exam over a window of two days, September 29 and September 30, in two slots. The morning slot was held from 9 AM to 11.30 AM and the afternoon slot was scheduled from 2 PM to 4.30 PM. The exam was earlier postponed by NBE owing to the G-20 Summit scheduled in New Delhi from September 8 to September 10. The exam was scheduled to be held on September 9 and September 10. NEET SS 2023 exam was held in computer-based mode. NBE started registration for NEET SS 2023 on July 27.  Candidates had to register online and submit NEET SS 2023 application form till August 16.
