M.Sc. in Wildlife science - Batch of 2027

4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Best value for money college for M.Sc. wildlife.
Placements: Field Biology in reputed organisations like WII, BHNS, etc. Serious and passionate candidates always have guaranteed job opportunities. Many of our seniors are working on projects like Tiger, GIB, etc. In Rajasthan and across India. Internship opportunities are also good through their contacts.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is in the development phase, and the present one is still good. Wi-Fi available. Hotel infrastructure is average to slightly better, but regular maintenance is still lacking. College fees are 25,000 per year. Hostel fee for M.Sc. Rs. 7,500 for 6 months and 4000-5000 monthly for tiffin and other expenses. Mess facility not certain.
Faculty: The syllabus's difficulty level is moderate and overlaps with Zoology and Environmental Science. 60% required for passing in 3 semesters and dissertation in 4th sem. 2-3 Long tours as per the curriculum, along with frequent tours by the college and forest department.
Other: It's really a value-for-money option. The course guarantees a good career and job opportunities for wildlife enthusiasts. The University campus and various places inside and near the city are perfect for field experience. The university, forest department and government have good support and facilities required throughout the course. The university is still in the developing phase in terms of infrastructure, but the present infrastructure is still sufficient. The crowd is low to moderate. The college arranges frequent tours within and outside the city, especially a one-week tour to various destinations in the wildlife week and a long-distance tour as per the curriculum.

This college is very good in academic terms.
Placements: 70% was the minimum for admission in our course. The highest package for BCA was 14 LPA, and the lowest package was 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Google, Amazon, and other companies. Minimum percentage was 60%. Roles offered were data analyst, developer, and others.
Infrastructure: Facilities were very good in our infrastructure. There were many courses and departments in infrastructure. There was good Wi-Fi connection and computer labs in good condition. Library system was very good. They served clean and good quality food in college.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful to weak students. They were highly qualified professionals and knowledgeable teachers. Their lectures were very good. This course made students ready for the industry. The semester exams were not that difficult, if you studied well. 57% was the pass percentage.
Other: This course was very good for those who want to be in the computer line. This course was about computer language and the understanding of computers. Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) - Batch of 2027
Offered by Om Kothari Institute of Management and Research
4.4
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Supportive faculty, industry-relevant curriculum, good placements, and active campus life.
Placements: 85% of students are successfully placed through the campus placement drive. The highest package offered in the course is 18 LPA, secured by a student placed in a reputed multinational technology company. The lowest package is 4.2 LPA, which is still a competitive starting salary for fresh graduates. The average package hovered around 7.5 LPA, indicating balanced overall opportunities for most students. Recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Deloitte, and Amazon.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of Om Kothari Institute of Management and Research is designed to create a conducive environment. The computer labs are modern, with updated hardware and licensed software for business analytics, programming, and management tools. Library is well-stocked with academic textbooks, reference materials, research journals, e-books, and digital databases that support both coursework and extracurricular research. For practical learning, the institute also offers seminar halls and conference rooms with sound systems, which are frequently used for guest lectures, workshops, and presentations. The mess serves hygienic and balanced meals, with a rotating menu that includes both vegetarian and limited non-vegetarian options.
Faculty: The pass percentage in the course is generally high, with over 85% of students clearing exams on the first attempt. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty. They test conceptual understanding as well as application, so regular study and class participation usually ensure good performance. Internal assessment, assignments, and presentations also contribute to the final grade, reducing the pressure of end-semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because of practical learning approach, supportive faculty members and industry oriented curriculum. I wish there were more modern lab resources and increased industry tie ups for internships. Campus hosts cultural fests, management events and sports meets creating a lively atmosphere. The crowd is diverse and friendly, with good peer interaction. Campus is well-connected to the city, with essential amenities nearby. Scholarships are available for meritorious students, and extracurricular activities are encouraged.

1Placements1Infrastructure2Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
It was the worst experience from my college.
Placements: There was no placement cell. Students didn't receive any placements through the college. Even though English offered low-level banking placements, students needed a high percentage, like 75% or above, to get jobs. Despite all this, there were no placements provided by the college.
Infrastructure: In the college, there was no hostel. They only provided classrooms, and the libraries were usually closed and shut permanently after 5:00 p.m. There was no option for Wi-Fi connectivity. There were labs, but they didn't have any equipment.
Faculty: Teachers were not helpful to students. They were qualified, but they didn’t want to help. The teaching quality was very poor. The semester exams were very difficult, and the college’s passing percentage was very low. They had issues with the correction of answer sheets.
Other: My course was useless. I chose a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. I wished the college had improved its infrastructure and the quality of its teachers.
