Kurukshetra University BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
Kurukshetra University BTech courses are four year undergraduate engineering courses that are offered on full time basis. BTech at Kurushetra University is available in five different specialisations which includes Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology and many more. Kurukshetra University BTech admissions are decided by the cutoff list prepared by the Haryana State Technical Counseling Society (HSTES). This cutoff list based on JEE Main ranks, followed by a counselling process.
Apart from JEE score, for Kurukshetra University BTech admission, the aspirants must fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria.

The JEE Mains entrance exam can be attempted upto six times only in three cnsecutive years after clearing the Class 12 board exams. There is no upper age limit for JEE Mains exam however, candidates must be at or above the age of 17 to appear for the JEE exam. Candidates must also clear their Class 12 board examination to appear for the same.

Kurukshetra University BTech Admission Dates 2025
The Kurukshetra University BTech admission dates are inline with the JEE Mains exam for admission to the UG programme. KUK releases the application form after the result declaration of the accepted exam. JEE Mains exam dates are announced by NTA which have already been announced in 2025.
The registrations for the session one of wil begin in the month of December of the year prior to admission year and the exam will be conducted in January of current year.JEE Main is conducted in the month of February for session two and last until April. Kurukshetra University BTech Admission 2025: How to Apply?
The Kurukshetra University BTech course admissions are decided by the scores obtained in the JEE Mains entrance examination. The Kurukshetra University admissions are concluded with the JoSAA counseling rounds where, the seat allotment is made. The Kurukshetra University BTech application process can only be completed in the prescribed manner in the announcement circular. The steps below show the entire Kurukshetra University BTech admissions:
STEP 1: JEE Mains Registration 2025
To register for the JEE Mains entrance exam, candidates must visit the official portal of NTA for the JEE Mains exam (https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/).
Here, the candidates must find the announcement circular and follow the instructions provided within. Once the candidate gets access to the registration forms, they will need to pay the registration fee after confirming their mobile and email address. The Kurukshetra University BTech application fee is the same as JEE Mains registration fee. Candidates may need to attach the following documents to the JEE registration form:
- Certificates along with mark sheets of both Class 10 & 12
- Proof of both ID and address
- Passport-size photographs
- Character certificate
- Migration certificate
- Domicile certificate
- Attested copies of birth certificate and last qualifying examination
- Attested copies of any other necessary document required (SC/ ST/ OBC certificate etc.)
STEP 2: Allotment of Seats
Candidates who manage to secure the appropriate scores in the JEE Mains entrance exam will be called for the JoSAA counseling rounds. Here, the candidates are alloted seats in their chosen campus for the BTech course. Candidates who wish to get admissions into the Kurukshetra University BTech courses will need to lock it as their prefferedcapus.
STEP 3: Confirmation of Admissions
Candidates who are alloted a seat at Kurukshetra University BTech courses will be required to pay the BTech admission fees to confirm their seat at Kurukshetra University. Kurukshetra University BTech Curriculum
The Kurukshetra University BTech course curriculum is defined for each semester. There are eight semesters in the four-year programme.
