For LPUNEST 2026, applications are now open with the last date being Jan 15, 2026. The slot booking will start on Dec 10, 2025, onwards.
The LPUNEST (remotely proctored exam) will be conducted from Jan 10, 2026 to Feb 5, 2026. The test center-based exam will be held from Jan 20 to Feb 5, 2026.

LPU BPEd Eligibility & Highlights 2026

The University offers a two-year full-time Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) programme at the UG level. LPU admission to BPEd is subject to a valid score in LPUPET, conducted by the University. The below table indicates the minimum eligibility criteria along with the semester fee:

- A pass in any UG degree with 50% aggregate with at least participation in any inter-college/ zonal/ district/ school competition in sports and games recognised by AIU/ IOA/ SGFI/ Govt of India or equivalent

- A pass in BPEd with 45% aggregate in

- A pass with 45% aggregate marks any bachelor’s degree with Physical Education as compulsory/ elective subject or equivalent

* For BPEd, candidates who meet the following criteria can also apply:

A pass in any UG degree with 45% aggregate and participated in national/ inter-university/ state competitions or
Secured first, second or third position in inter-college/ zonal/ district/ school competition in sports and games as recognised by the AIU/ IOA/ SGFI/ Govt. of India or equivalent are also applicable or
A pass in a bachelor’s degree with participation in international competitions or secured first, second or third position in national/ inter-university competition in sports and games as recognised by respective federations/ AIU/ IOA/ SGFI/ Government of India or
A pass in any UG degree with at least 45% aggregate with at least three years of teaching experience for deputed in-service candidates (i.e. trained physical education teachers/ coaches)
There is a 5% relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates

Exceptional infrastructure.

Placements: University offers so many internships and placement opportunity to graduates and post graduates, for graduates students get placed in decathalon and for post graduates students gets internship and job in government schools and in companies with minimum 3-4 Lacs package.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of hostel, campus and department is awesome they provide free Wi-Fi, the hostels have canteen and mess, student can book it from lpu website, quality of food is okay, there are shops in every hostel and also there are library in the campus and free Wi-Fi everywhere.

Faculty: The faculty of this course is helpful and they all are qualified in their field, this course make students get ready for the upcoming competitive exams in physical education field. If you can be focused you can passed the semester exams the level is moderate.

Other: I chose this course because I am from sports and anyone can join this course because it gives the knowledge of different sports and games and also about our body and how it works during these activities, also the campus life is pretty amazing as they organizes so many events academic as well as cultural.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the placement; the festival is the best with great infrastructure.

Placements: 40% of the students get placed in the course at the highest package of INR 6 lakhs per annum, with an average package of INR 3 lacs per annum. College internships are available to 20% of students. Coach and teacher are the top roles offered in my course and university, and Decathlon is the top recruiter.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the LPU is quite good. It has a good lab and library with high-speed Wi-Fi. The classroom is equipped with technology like a camera, smartboard, and fast internet via Wi-Fi. The facilities in the hostel are good enough, with good medical facilities, especially for girls; there is a park in every hostel; and the food is good enough, with a variety of menus.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is average. The course is relevant in this modern era. The semester exam is quite easy. 90% of students pass with a CGPA of 8 or higher. The viva and practical are the difficult parts of this course.

Other: I chose this course because I am an athlete. Events and festivals are the best part of this college, which happen every week of the month with great creative excitement.

It is an amazing college to study.

Placements: Almost 70% of students got placed. The highest package offered was 12.4 LPA, and the lowest package was 5.2 LPA. Decathlon was the top recruiting company. More than 80% of students got internships in companies like Decathlon, ONGC etc. Sports teachers, coach, and mentors are available.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. The classrooms are well maintained with proper ventilation, and the library is fully equipped with books and required materials. The hostel is quite impressive as its surroundings are way better than other colleges. The mess is good for the vegetarian people. Sports and medical facilities are very good.

Faculty: Maximum teachers here are holding doctorates. They are good at teaching and highly skilled with proper knowledge of the subjects. The curriculum is very similar to the industry and makes a student well prepared for future. Semester exams are a bit tough, but if you study well, you can qualify easily. The passing percentage is 40%.

Other: The campus crowd is diverse, and you can find people of all kinds here. The best thing about my course is you get ample opportunities to showcase your talent. I think the cultural activities need to be improved. Events are held regularly with famous celebrities performing. Scholarships are good, and you can avail a 100% scholarship.

LPU is best because all teachers are well-educated and every student got jobs from LPU.

Placements: They give us placement classes to give a better interview for the best placement, and many companies were coming there for recruitment. Also one year back for placements, they teach us for the interview and give us better ideas or improve our verbal ability, general knowledge and body language like how to stand, sit and talk with a recruitment officer. They were giving us best opportunities.

Infrastructure: The campus in the college is big. All the campuses in LPU have free wireless Wi-Fi facility. The area of the college campus is vast. The infrastructure of the college is very good.

Faculty: Our faculty is very well-qualified. All are PhD holders and very knowledgeable. When they come to our class to give us a lecture we will have very interested because they come with an interesting topic and knowledgeable theories. All teachers are very friendly with students.

Other: In one year, many events were organised on campus every month. The campus is big. LPU-NEST is best in providing the scholarship.
