It provides good infrastructure, good placements, and good opportunities.

Placements: About 70% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered in our course was 8 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges between 4-4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Bosch, TCS, Amazon, and Cognizant visit our campus for placements. Our course has many subjects such as digital electronics, communication, networking, magnetic field effect, VLSI, microprocessor, and microcontroller.

Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are good with lighting and computers are also in good condition. The library is very good with good books. In the hostel, laundry and cleaning facilities are good. The food served in the hostel is average. The food served in the canteen is good. The medical facilities are very good. A high priority is given to games and sports here.

Faculty: Teachers who teach us are very experienced. The courses are related to the industry. Semester exams are a little bit difficult. The passing marks are 40. In our university, the pattern of exams is there will be 3 CAS in which you have to get good marks atleast in 2 CAS. There will be five marks for attendance. Mid-term exams are of 20 marks, and the end-term exams are of 70 marks.

Other: I am from the 2020 batch. I am from the ECE course. I have chosen this course because I like electronics. Events and tests are organised every month.

Our college has excellent infrastructure, and this college is the best to have a hostel experience.

Placements: Out of 22 students, 1 student got placed from our course. The average salary package offered was around 2 LPA to 3 LPA. None of the students opted for internships due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As it is a diploma engineering course, junior engineer posts are offered. Most of the students apply for higher education rather than placements.

Infrastructure: Our college provides 24x7 Wi-Fi facility, and the labs are well-equipped. Classrooms had smart class facilities, and libraries provide all types of course materials. The hostel was moderate, and the quality of the food served was good and healthy. If you want to take admission in LPU, I suggest you to avail hostel facilities and also the canteen. LPU has in-campus hospital and ambulance services 24x7. There is also a sports stadium, along with an Olympic size swimming pool and other games courts.

Faculty: Teachers here are knowledgeable and highly qualified. Their teaching quality is up to the mark. The course curriculum is relevant and also informative and practical-oriented. Industrial visits and field visits provided here make students industry-ready. Overall, you will get industry-ready and company-ready after the course.

Other: This course offered many subjects in which I was interested. Moreover, this course curriculum was known to me as I was interested in electronics gadgets. The communication part of the course should be better. Every day some, or the other events are organised in LPU. The campus crowd is good, and campus surroundings are its best. Scholarships are the best part of the university.

I am satisfied with our college, and there are no drawbacks.

Placements: Placements of our university are good. Top companies used to come and hire the best students. For our course, there are many companies for recruitment. We all are satisfied with our placements as we got a good and high salary package. Almost 90% of the students got an internship.

Infrastructure: Facilities of our university are amazing, and the infrastructure was superb. Classrooms are well-modified. The library has a wide collection of books through which we can gain more knowledge. Our hostel infrastructure was amazing and comfortable. Mess food is great as Punjab.

Faculty: Teachers here are very cooperative. Their teaching skills were good, and they have a clear concept regarding what they teach. By the help of them, we could reach high, and they make us be more practical and clear all our doubts and understands us.

Other: I have chosen this course as I have an interest in it, and I can build my career in this. Many events are conducted here, and the surroundings were good. Many extracurricular activities and many trips are arranged by the college.

LPU UG Diploma Eligibility & Highlights 2026

LPU also offers UG Diploma programmes in several fields, such as Cabin Crew, Photography and Library & Information Sciences. The duration of these programmes ranges between one and three years. Apart from the UG Diploma, LPU also offers a few other diploma courses that require Class 10 as the minimum qualification for admission. All these programmes are of three-year duration each, except for Diploma in Food Production, which is of one-year duration. The semester fee of all these courses is the same as for UG Diploma courses i.e INR 50,000. LPU admission to all these courses is based on merit scores in the last qualifying exam (Class 10). In addition to the dual diploma programmes, LPU also offers 10 dual programmes which are a mix of a diploma and a bachelor’s degree. All these programmes are of a six-year duration each, except for Dual Programme DMLT-BSc (Medical Laboratory Technology), which is of five years. For LPU admission to these courses, candidates must meet the minimum eligibility requirements set by the University.

Q: Will I get a direct admission in LPU with 65 % marks in Class 12?

LPU does not offer direct admission. However, admission to few courses is merit-based. Aspirants scoring a 65% aggregate have a good chance of getting admission in LPU. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the university to apply online. To apply for LPU, aspirants need to register for LPUNEST for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. LPU admission to most of the courses is based on LPUNEST score. However, national-level entrance exam scores are also accepted for admission to BA LLB (Hons), MBA, BTech, etc. Candidates must complete Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG courses. The selection rounds are followed by counselling and document verification.

Q: How much is the LPU NEST 2026 application fee?

LPU NEST application form fee for a soft copy of the LPU NEST 2026 Kit is INR 1000 for boys and girls. The printed copy of the LPU NEST Kit is available for INR 1500 for boys and girls. The application fee can be paid online if the application form is filled out online. The application fee can be given as a demand draft if the application form is submitted offline. If the DD is not enclosed or DD is wrongly drawn, the application form will not be accepted. The application fee has to be paid to submit the application form.

Q: What is the LPU NEST exam date for the test centre-based test?

LPUNEST 2026 phase 4 exam started on June 6 for both test centre and remote-proctored mode. The last exam will be held on June 20.

A review of Lovely Professional University.

Placements: Placements in LPU are huge, and the students who have above 6.7 CGPA are allowed to sit in the placements of maximum companies. Placements are increasing every year, and the world top tech giants are visiting LPU for recruitment. They offer a huge amount of salary packages to LPU students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of LPU is awesome when compared to placements. The environment here is 10 times better. One thing you can notice in the hostel premises of LPU is that the workers of LPU will keep the premises clean, and they are trying to keep LPU very clean.

Faculty: Faculty members of LPU are very young, and the female faculty are very good. You will never get such faculty members in other colleges. Faculty members should have experience, but faculty members of LPU are less experienced when compared to faculty members of other universities. The faculty members completed their M.Tech and joined LPU.

Other: Hostels are good, but the hostel fee for 1 year is very high, and the food provided in mess is the worst.

Placements: The placement chances for a good academic candidate is good, and even I also get the placement in the college. The good companies come for the placement here. You need to give your best in studying and get good marks, and after that, you will be eligible for many interviews.

Infrastructure: Lovely Professional University is one of India's the best private colleges, and I found this is the best place for taking education and building up the communication skills well. You will get the Wi-Fi everywhere on the campus, and there are a mall and the food courts as well.

Faculty: The classrooms are good like every room contains the projector. The teachers are good there, and there is no such burden in the class. You will get most of the syllabus in PPT for the revision.

Other: You will find the most exciting place for the entertainment. Many celebrities come there like coke studio and every film promotion.

Everything is good in the college.

Placements: The placement was not much good. Most of them went for higher studies. 3-4 students got placed. The lowest salary offered was 1.25/annum, and the highest package offered was 2.75/annum. Companies like Wipro, Cognizant, etc., came to the college and the roles of site engineer, etc. No internship is provided. There is a placement cell, it is not effective but takes care of.

Infrastructure: The facilities were good. Everything is available on the campus. Wi-Fi was good. The labs were up to the mark, classrooms were good, but no A/C. Food quality was very good in canteens. The hostel rooms are good. I didn't find any infrastructure problem during my college tenure.

Faculty: The teachers are good. They help us in every possible way. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They put every effort to make us understand the things. They teach on board, using a projector and explaining the theory. The student to faculty ratio is 50:1. We didn't get any industrial exposure.

Other: On a regular basis, the events and fests are celebrated there. The campus crowd is good and responsible. The connectivity is good. The scholarship is available in sports and study.

I find it interesting, every thing is interesting.

Placements: The placements for our batch and our senior's batch were not much good. Most of them opted for higher studies, 4 to 5 students got placed those who have not opted for higher studies. The lowest and the highest expected salaries were respectively 1.25 Lacs per annum to 2.75 lacs per annum. The roles offered were a site engineer, structural engineer, etc. Companies visited were Lava, Indian Navy, Indian army, etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, all facilities are available in the campus with good quality of speed, maintenance, furniture, and books respectively. There is a separate department for medical facilities open for 24/7. The sports and games are regular in the college. The labs and classrooms are good. Food quality is good in the canteen. The hostel rooms are good.

Faculty: The teachers are great. They treat us as their friends, very helpful in any kind and any work. They are well qualified and knowledgeable except 1-2. The teaching quality is good, every possible manner is used for making us understand. The student to faculty ratio is 50:1. We didn't get any industry exposure.

Other: Lots of events and fests are held every year like One World One India, Youth Vibe, and lots of national hosting. The campus crowd is good and very responsive. The connectivity is good with each other. The surroundings are good. The scholarship is available but based on study and sports only.

Placements: The placement of the senior batch was good, salary offered was 1.25 LPA to 2.75 LPA. The companies which visits were Indian Army, Navy, Cognizant, Wipro, lava etc. , There is a placement cell in college, placement cell helps in every position of students, personality development, group discussion, debate, and other skills. There will be interaction with seniors who's has been placed in good companies.

Infrastructure: Good Wi-Fi system is available, all labs are available well-furnished with full equipment and materials. The classrooms are good with projectors in class, high-class library with computer systems and well-furnished. Wi-Fi, lots of books and good environment is available. There are lots of sports events and games in college. University, national as well as international levels sports events are conducted in the college.

Faculty: The teacher's teaching is good. The teachers are helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teachers do their best to make students understand things in every possible way. 1:60 is the student-teacher ratio. The course curriculum is easy if we study in class well and that's enough to understand.

Other: Lots of events, fest, campus crowd is good, connectivity is less with other blocks but good in hostels. The campus surroundings are good. The scholarship is provided according to your marks in studies or sports, lots of events completion etc.
