Best college in Bangalore for biotechnology .
Placements: Placements are not provided for Bachelors. However the faculty members are of a great help when it comes to preparing for jobs. We had various guest lectures for further studies abroad, job applications etc. When it comes to internships the faculty members provided a lot of references.
Infrastructure: Ramaiah, considering the level of Bachelors has the best infrastructure in my opinion. The classes were well maintained and has the best facilities, comfortable desks and chair. Library is there in the second and the ground floor. Wi-Fi is provided in every floor. Biotechnology as a course have proper lab classes with three classes a week. There are two labs for biotechnology with standardized equipments to ensure proper learning.
Faculty: The teachers are the best in biotechnology at Ramaiah University. They helped me a lot in my entire duration of three years. Each and every faculty was there for anything whether it is academically related or not. They are ready to help every time. Yes, the course is to the point and covers the basics and makes the foundation strong. It does? T perfectly makes us ready to face the industry, but does make us feel confident and face the world. The difficult levels were never the same, sometimes they were extremely tough and times, they are moderate, there was 90% of students passing every semester.
Other: The course was apt and interesting. It was the need of the hour, especially after the recent pandemic. The course promises to offer a good future and how much we students can contribute to the world. The campus was lively all year with student clubs which were interactive and had events all year. There were events conducted by different clubs like HEXIS by DeNovo the biotech society. There were extra curricular club like RuVogue the fashion team, and the annual Akaira. The crowd is lively and excited. You? D never feel bored in campus as you seem to have more engagement alongside academics. The campus was pretty huge with greenery and serene park. It? S perfect place to hill after hectic classes.

Is MSRUAS worth it? For bsc.(Hons) ??
Placements: Highest LPA for M.sc biotechnology- 8LPA. Many top recruiting companies are there but not all of the students are gonna get placed. All the students at the end of the 7th semester will get an internship from the college to work and gain experience and there are policies for summer internship after every even semester.
Infrastructure: Facilities which are there:
1) Wi-Fi
2) well equipped labs for every course and practical
3) classrooms can maximum accommodate 70 students but they have projector and other facilities for teaching and learning methods.
4) seats are comfortable
5) one central library and one department library is there which needs more books but its still fine and equipped.
6) there are approximately 10-12 hostel's under Ramaiah and all are better than what i expected and comfortable
7) Ramaiah has dedicated Ramaiah medical college and Ramaiah memorial hospital, no need to worry about any medical emergency its there inside the campus.
8) mess food is okay okay and lots of canteen are there inside the campus and lots of options.
9) sports and games are there with one ground dedicated for sports outside the campus named MSR ground but sports quality and planning needs to be changed.
Faculty: Professors are amazing, helpful, qualified and worth it but sometimes they can be crazy and angry. Whatever college i searched in Bengaluru, only Ramaiah's curriculum is based on making a student industry ready. So we have two term test and one semester end exams and talking about the difficulty is moderate.
Other: Biotechnology is a growing and on demand sectors. Moreover AI/ML cant kill this industry and the need of the experts in this industry will always remain but AI can only be incorporated into this sector which Ramaiah teaches during their course.
