Shortlisting based on CET
After the announcement of CET results, candidates are ranked based on their performance in the entrance exams. The candidates who are shortlisted for counselling are informed about further process over call/mail, by the authorities of CET. The counselling fee for CET is expected to be INR 500. However, it is subject to change at the discretion of the concerned authorities.
Admission Confirmation
Students who get allocated a seat via the counselling need to get their documents verified by the admission authorities. After document verification, students are required to pay the prescribed fees to secure their admission. The MAKAUT BCA fees ranges from INR 66,000 to INR 5 lakh for a course duration of two years as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is, however, subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

No, candidates do not have the option to change their college under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. MAKAUT offers BTech programme across two specialisations at the University department, i.e. CSE and IT. However, there are more than 20 BTech specialisations available at the affiliated colleges of MAKAUT. Some of the affiliated Engineering colleges under MAKAUT include Asansol Engineering College, NSHM Institute of Engineering and Technology, among others.
BTech at MAKAUT fhas a duration of four years. The university follows a semester based system and hence, BTech is divided into 8 semesters. Students must pass each semester exam conducted at the end of each semester to proceed to the next.

The selection criteria for BPharm at MAKAUT is entrance based with the university accepting WBJEE scores for the same. The minimum eligibility is passing Class 12 with atleast 45% aggregate in any stream. Make sure that the minimum eligibility requirement for the preferred course is met before apply
