MAKAUT BCA Eligibility & Highlights 2025
MAKAUT BCA is a UG-level programme offered at the main campus of the university. However, there are more than 70 affiliated colleges of MAKAUT that also offer BCA programmes to students. Check all MAKAUT-affiliated colleges offering BCA here.
The duration of this programme is three years. Moreover, the mode of education is full-time. Admission to BCA at MAKAUT is based on the CET exam conducted by the university. MAKAUT BCA Fees 2025
The fee structure for MAKAUT courses is cumulative of multiple components, such as the tuition fee, hostel fee, medical insurance, mess, and other security deposits, etc. As per the structure, the total tuition fee for BCA courses ranges from INR 80,000 to INR 7.2 lakh. MAKAUT BCA Admission 2025: How to Apply?
MAKAUT BCA course admission are done based on scores in CET exam conducted by the university itself. Students interested in seeking admission to the BCA course are required to apply via CET conducted by MAKAUT. Following is a step by step guide for MAKAUT admissions:
STEP 1: MAKAUT BCA Application Process 2025
- Visit the official website of the instiute and click on 'Apply Online for CET'.
- Register by adding the required details, such as name, contact details and a valid email id
- Check for the registration number received via SMS/email
- Login and fill out the application form
- Pay the application fee and submit the form

NOTE: For SC/ST/PwD category candidates, the application fee is half the amount for General category candidates.
STEP 2: Shortlisting based on CET 2025
After the announcement of CET results, candidates are ranked based on their performance in the entrance exams. The candidates who are shortlisted for counselling are informed about further process over call/mail, by the authorities of CET. The counselling fee for CET 2025 is expected to be INR 500. However, it is subject to change at the discretion of the concerned authorities.
STEP 3: Admission Confirmation
Students who get allocated a seat via the counselling need to get their documents verified by the admission authorities. After document verification, students are required to pay the prescribed fees to secure their admission. The MAKAUT BCA fees ranges from INR 66,000 to INR 5 lakh for a course duration of two years as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is, however, subject to changes and hence, is indicative.
MAKAUT BCA Curriculum
MAKAUT BCA curriculum includes a semester-wise list of subjects to be taught throughout the course duration. Some of the subjects included in the curriculum are Object Oriented Programming with Java, Information System Analysis and Design, Java Programming Lab, Python Programming Lab, etc. Moreover, the university conducts a six weeks online Bridge Course for non Computer Science/Computer Applications/Information Technology background students according to the detailed syllabus. MAKAUT BCA placement 2024 report has not been released yet. However, the placement data for 2022 is available. As per that, 85 students were placed during the 2022 drive, and one student opted for higher studies. Further, the highest package offered during MAKAUT placements was INR 44 LPA. Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, and many other leading companies participated in 2022 placements.
