Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP), Varanasi usually concludes the application process between May and July for most of its courses across. Candidates seeking admission must fulfil the eligibility and other requirements for final seat allotment and should fill out the application by paying the required application fee before the specified last date. Those who qualify for all the admission rounds will be required to report to the admission cell at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP), Varanasi for document verification and fee payment.

CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in May/June for 37 subjects. The mode of examination is CBT (Computer Based Test). NTA did not release official notification for CUET UG date sheet. Candidates can know exam details through CUET UG information bulletin. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 exam in multiple phases depending upon the number of candidates registering for the exam. Registered candidates can know the exact CUET UG exam on hall ticket. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of the examination. The exam will be held in two slots each day depending upon the subject combinations chosen by the candidate.

MGKVP Varanasi admission to the Ayurvedacharya in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery course is based on AYUSH. As per cutoff 2022, the closing rank after three rounds of counselling for Ayurvedacharya in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery closed at 25847 for the General category candidates belonging to All India Quota. For OBC All India, the closing rank was 29278 while for SC All India it was 134490. So, according to the last year cutoff ranks, it can be anticipated that candidates with 30000 rank will get admission in MGKVP. 

MG Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP) has an elaborate seat reservation policy. Seats are reserved for candidates belonging to various categories. The percentage of seats reserved for each category is given below:

• 1% of seats are reserved for Handicapped candidates
• 20% of total seats are reserved for women candidates (category-wise, in respective cadre)
• 2% of total seats are reserved for dependents of Freedom Fighters
• 5% of total seats are reserved for Soldiers, Ex-Soldiers, Soldiers posted in J&K, parliamentary dependents or dependents of misplaced citizens of J&K
• 10% of total seats are reserved for dependents of the permanent employees of MGKVP

Given below is the list of documents required for MBA admission at MGKVP:

• Self-attested copies of Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets
• Self-attested copy of Bachelor's degree marksheet
• Self-attested copy of the CUET (PG) scorecard
• Photo Identity proof such as an Aadhaar Card/ PAN Card (original & one copy)
• Original Transfer certificate (TC)
• Original Character certificate (CC)
• Migration certificate (original)
• Six copies of the coloured photograph
• Anti-Ragging affidavit by both candidate and parents on Stamp paper certified by a Notary (original and one copy)
• Self-attested copy of Income and Caster certificate SC/ST/OBC)
• EWS certificate (if applicable)
• Self-attested copy of Disability certificate (if applicable)

Candidates seeking admission to the MGKVP course admission must take the CUET exam as Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP), Varanasi accepts admission for the UG and PG programmes based on valid scores in CUET-UG and CUET-PG, respectively. The process for admission to the programmes offered at MGKVP begins with registration for the CUET exam through the official website by paying the required registration fee for final submission. Candidates having valid CUET scores can register for the counselling process at MGKVP followed by document verification and fee payment leading to final seat allotment.

National Testing Agency re-commenced CUET 2026 registration on February 23, 2026. Soon after the release of the CUET notification, candidates can check the important dates about CUET 2026. The last date for CUET 2026 registration was February 26, 2026 (11.50 PM).

Candidates were required to fill the CUET application form within the given time frame, failing which no request for extension of the CUET registration last date will be entertained. NTA does not provide the window for late fee payment. CUET 2026 application process is in online mode. No physical copies of the CUET application form must be sent to the authorities.
