Review of M.Sc. forensic science in BHU.

Placements: It is not as easy to get placement in this course because of the limited opportunities. Getting a job completely depends on our hard work and experience, and support is provided by the faculty and the department. However, as it is a prestigious institution, it gives a good value for our degree and because of this, we get into forensic laboratories.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are really good and you have interhostel competitions to compete in and have fun. All the festivals are celebrated in every department, so you get to see different ways of celebration and decorations, which are so beautiful to see. There is a big central library where you can get almost all the materials for your course. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the campus, which aids in our studies.

Faculty: As it is a master's course, you will have to put in the effort in addition to what the teachers provide. All the teachers are experienced and are ready to help you clear your doubts. If you study well, exams are pretty okay. You will have to have more than 30% in order to pass your exams.

M.Sc. Forensics Science in BHU, Varanasi.

Placements: BHU does not ensure placement for Master in Forensic Science. There are available internships and workshops on different fields of forensic Science on campus. The role that this course offer is about being a professional in the field of forensics like a forensic analyst, forensic scientist, forensic officer, etc.

Infrastructure: The Infrastructure here is excellent and functional with a smart classroom through which the subject can be grasped deeply. The campus offers Wi-Fi for students. University Library is vast and consists of all the books that one needs. The hostel facilities available are considerably good, with a clean mess and canteen. There is a health center for students in campus which is free of cost for service.

Faculty: The faculty member - teachers are highly qualifies and knowledgeable in there respective fields. The This filed more practical based as the students will be made ready for being exposed to live cases and analysis by case study and related scenarios. The semester exams are held as per the academic calender, which is strictly followed.

Other: The course offers job opportunity in the field of forensic in the country as well as outside. College host a number of fest in each faculty of the university. The campus life here is so wonderful with late-night campus life being enjoyed to its the fullest.

Infrastructure is good, placements are not provided by college but is supportive enough.

Placements: Low - 8000 To max of 70000 Depends on the government exams you opt for and how you prepare for them. Opt which field you prefer teaching or government jobs and prepare for the required exams, job opportunities are less available but once you get a job life is set.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are good; the canteen is good, and you pay for the food as per the lunch you take in most hostels. The water is not so pure, and hostel rooms are fine but a little congested. It's safe for girls, though the campus is not so safe at midnight. You can get free medicine.

Faculty: Relevant syllabus, good teaching, and teachers don't pressure you. Classes are held from 10:00 mostly, so there's no need to stress about waking up early. Teachers are helpful enough; they will clear doubts, teach in both languages, and show no partiality. They care for each student.

Other: The campus is lush green and so calm that it's cool enough in the summers. You have table tennis, basketball, and other sports activities in which you can get involved.

Not so satisfactory because of the placements and lack of a proper forensic department.

Placements: In our batch of M.Sc. forensic science no one got placements. Actually, there are no placements for forensic students. Some of our seniors got placements at Aakash Institute but not in the field of forensics. Students have to find forensic labs on their own for internships and other practical exposure.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is everywhere on BHU campus but lab is very small. Classroom is fine with smart screen board. They don't have enough books in the library for all students. Hostels are good. Every hostel has Wi-Fi, mess, sports items, reading room, common room, and greenery around.

Faculty: Honesty, the forensic department is not very developed, so there are no forensic faculty members or professors from different departments who come to teach their subjects which are also a subject in forensic science. Professors from biology law, chemistry, and physics departments teach forensic biology, forensic law, forensic chemistry, and forensic physics respectively. Course curriculum is best for UGC NET. I don't find semester exams difficult. Passing marks are 1/3 of the total marks as usual.

Other: Forensic science is a fascinating subject. The practical knowledge is more important in this course. There is always something happening like workshops, conferences, and sports competitions in BHU.
