Students are offered seat in MBA based on their national-level Management entrance exam scores and performance in CBT and PI round conducted by the university.

Aspirants must pass Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate to apply for UG courses. Candidates need to complete graduation with at least 50% or 55% aggregate for most of the PG programmes. The minimum aggregate required for MBA is 60% in Graduation, Class 10 and Class 12.

For admission to the BTech course, MIT-WPU, Pune accepts scores of various state/ national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main/ MHT CET/ PERA CET/ NEET UG (for Bioengineering). Aspirants have to submit a statement of purpose and pass PI round for final selection.

The university also considers scores in CLAT, PERA CET, MHT CET, JEE Main, etc. for admission in specific programme. They do not have to appear for any entrance exam.
