It's good for people who want to become something different from majority people.
Placements: Only few percent of students aren't placed in my course, as for beginner the average package is around 30,000 rs and 15,000 rs is the lowest. All top and local hospital and food related companies recruit you. In LG everyone got internship. Dietician, food inspector, and food quality officer are the top roles.
Infrastructure: There is canteen where coffee, maggi and medical facilities available, quality of maggi and coffee is good. Labs are well-equipped and have everything available and well santized. Classroom are good and have AC in some and bench are good. College have a Wi-Fi connection too.
Faculty: Teaching faculty is good and well qualified and teacher as well. Course curriculum is relevant to the course and somewhat ready for the industry. Exam are both practical and theory where we have to study harder and brush up our memory from what the teacher said in the class.
Other: Course is unique and have a bright future ahead. And conduct fest and festival and extracurricular activities.

It is one of the best fields and has a lot of scopes ahead. I would recommend this course to others.
Placements: In a total of 115 students study in our departments, about 20% of students got placed in our course, and some were specialised in a specific field. The salary package offered is 5 LPA. The top roles offered are dietitian, food safety and quality control and public health nutrition. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. About 60% of students got an internship in our course.
Infrastructure: Food labs are provided in our department. Classrooms with projectors and screen with nice visual aids of study are available. The library for our department, specifically where students get the thesis to understand the subject and some books which would be helpful in our course.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly and qualified. Faculty members have experience and a lot of knowledge which helps the students to solve the problems. Teaching quality is best as compared to other college faculty members. The course curriculum is perfect for the students and basics, and it makes the students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because it was my dream course, and it makes a very bright future. Placements should be improved. They should provide 100% placement opportunities for students so that students get exposure and don't have to sit back home and think about what to do. Events and fests organised are good. Campus crowd, connectivity, and surroundings are the best.

The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, the best in Gujarat.
Placements: I am currently in BSc botany (final year) and my senior batch got well-placed. The placement procedure in the bachelor's degree is not that attractive but in the master's degree, it is well-arranged by the university. 30% of the students get selected in the campus placements. Keeping botany in view, companies include various pharmacy medicine research companies and other companies recruiting researchers. Moreover, the students are also selected by the faculty members of the department themselves for projects handled by them. The master's degree students are also hired by the department for assistant teaching faculty members via examinations. The starting pay scale is about 30-40,000 per month. Moreover, it is the best university of Gujarat which makes a way for its students among others in most of the company interviews.
Infrastructure: The campus of MSU is spread throughout the Vadodara city. The whole university is not in a single place altogether, but it does not mean you have to travel through the city in between lectures. But some classes like PE are taken in the Union Pavilion which is not present in the main campus itself. The infrastructure is very good having well-furnished classrooms, some even air-conditioned. All the classrooms have a projector and screen facility. The labs are also good having ample space, practical instruments and materials (chemistry labs are best). It also has a massive garden where the students can go and is also very helpful in some minor field studies. For botany students, the university has its own botanical garden and about 30,000 Herbaria collections. There are museums in the respective departments, and the entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled requiring a one-time registration. The canteen is also very good having fresh food but junk food items are not available nowadays (like noodles). The prices are also very fair like a canteen price should be. The Union Pavilion is literally huge and has all kinds of sports areas and equipment (except boxing). The university hostels are average. One room is shared by 3 students and has all facilities for them. The bathrooms are common, but it is worth the fee which is very low. The private hostels are there in the nearby area, and the girls' hostel is better than the boys' hostel as it is regularly maintained. The only thing missing I think is the RO water purifier as the drinking water in the campus is a little hard(water).
Faculty: All the teaching faculty members are extremely qualified and knowledgeable in their respective fields. The teaching method is almost common that is by using PPTs in projectors and explaining the topic. Practicals are also well-conducted using specimens, and field visits are also conducted. Each class has about 80-100 students depending on the department. The course is like climbing stairs, starting with the basics and climbing to advanced through the way. The faculty members are friendly, and the student-teacher interaction is good.
Other: The only disappointment about MSU is the examination department. In some cases, the students e-details get deleted even before the completion of the course which creates some issues regarding hall tickets and results. But nonetheless, they are sooner or later solved by the department itself. The results are very late sometimes as the last semester results release just before the current semester examination. The university elections are held every year and student union groups are there who help the students in every way possible.

Other: We have experienced faculty with us to guide and provide with the best knowledge. Infrastructure is quite good but I would say that it needs improvement. Facilities in our campus are not up to the mark and needs improvement. The library is the best amongst all the facilities provided by the college.

It could have been better.
Placements: The department provides placement after 4 years of this honors course. The placements are average in terms of package, as the average package is of 2–3 Lacs. Placements are provided as public health nutritionist, in industries, and in quality control jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The classrooms and Wi-Fi labs are okay too. The library has various books to study and is excellent. Problems rise sometimes with the laptops and projectors in classrooms, and the washrooms are average too. The hostels are equipped. Three or four girls hostels are near the college. Mess food is good. There is a pavilion opposite the HM hostel where several sports are being taught.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, but problems arise with some in their explaining abilities. The curriculum is a lot informative, practical and relevant. The semester exams are good enough. The chances of failing are less in this course. The pass percentage of the course is above 37%.
Other: I chose it because it provided specialization in all three fields: public health nutrition, food science and quality control, and dietetics. It opens up a wide range of possibilities for placement and gives a great experience in all specializations. The faculty has several campus events throughout the year and also sprint events that you can be a part of.
