Yes, admission to MTech course at NIIT University is entirely entrance-based. To get admission to NIIT University M.Tech course, candidates must get a UG/ PG degree in Engineering or related field with minimum 50% aggregate. Eligible candidates have to appear for an aptitude test conducted by the university, followed by AIP (Admission Interaction Process). 

Although, direct admission is offered to industry-linked M.Tech course offered in (Cyber Security) with Infosys Ltd. Aspirants of this course need to pass graduation in Engineering/ Technology. They also have minimum four years of work experience after graduation.

NU also offers two modes of admission. EAD refers to the Early Admission mode. Under EAD, students apply to their desired programme before appearing for their Class 12 board examinations.
