PU-CET (PG) is an entrance exam conducted by Panjab University Chandigarh for admission to its various post-graduate courses. PU-CET (PG) syllabus includes all the important topics of subjects that are relevant for business and general aptitude. For the PU-CET (PG) exam, candidates have to study Verbal Ability, Reasoning, General Knowledge and Data Interpretation. PU-CET (PG) exam preparation: Candidates should devise a strategy in advance. They must have a good idea of PU-CET (PG) exam pattern, the section-wise break-up, topic-wise weightage and the expected difficulty level of the question paper.
For Panjab University admission 2025, the university conducts multiple entrance exams such as PUMET, PUCET, PGLAW, PUMEET, PU UGLAW, PU MPhil and PhD Entrance Test, among others, for admission to its UG, PG and doctoral-level courses. Yes, Punjab University does offer Scholarships for ST/SC category. The scholarship are offered keeping the following criteria in consideration:
- Those Students belonging to OBCs so specified in relation to the state/Union Terrritory to which the applicant actually belongs, i.e. is permanently settled, who have passed the Matriculation
- Students who have secured minimum 50% or equivalent grade
- Students belonging to Scheduled Caste and special grants to girls belonging to Scheduled Castes.
Panjab University offers financial assistance or concessions to it through offering scholarships under need or merit basis. The University also provides scholarships on the basis of some eligibility requirements. In which, applicants of reserved category are allowed to receive scholarship in the category of Merit-cum-means scholarship of SC/ ST. Such scholarships are awarded to deserving students and guarantee a minimum of 50% marks or similar in any past test. Under the 'Merit-cum-means scholarship for SC/ ST' scholarship, the members of family, with an annual income of INR 2.50 LPA, are eligible to get admission.
