PU CET UG 2026 Application (Soon): Know Step by Step Process Here

• The candidates who have passed/appeared in 10+2 Examinations of Mahila Gram Vidyapith, Allahabad are ineligible to appear in the PU – CET (U.G.) Entrance Test, as this institution has been derecognised by Panjab University, Chandigarh. The examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Delhi, included in the booklet of recognised exams, has also been deleted from the Booklet. 
• The candidates having compartment in 10+2 examination held in March-2023 will not be eligible for admission in the course. The candidates who do not appear in PU – CET (U.G.) Entrance Test or who do not qualify PU – CET (U.G.) Entrance Test shall not be considered for the admission.

In relation to filling out the PU CET UG 2026 application form, the candidates will have to do the following:

1. Candidates should access the PU CET website.

2. Candidates should select the Button that says “Apply Now”.

3. Candidates should register for the examination, providing the necessary information, which includes the candidate's name, email address, and telephone number.

4. Candidates should log into their accounts to pay the application fee which should then be completed online.

5. Candidates should complete the application form thoroughly by providing the necessary information which includes personal information, educational background, and choices of courses.

6. Candidates should in the correct format upload images of their signature and a photograph.

7. Candidates should check the application form again and then click the “Submit” button.

A confirmation email will be sent after the application form has been filled out. A copy of the application form should also be downloaded for personal reference.

• Educational Qulaification Required: 50% Marks in 10+2 examination conducted by the respective State/Central Government authorities recognised as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English, Physics, Chemistry and one of the following subject:- Biology/ Biotechnology/ Mathematics.
• Combination of PU CET UG Subjects: (i) Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or (ii) Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM)

The age limit criteria for the PU CET UG exam is as follows:

•  Candidates must be at least 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission.
• There is no upper age limit for the exam.

Candidates are advised to carefully check the age limit criteria before applying for the exam. If a candidate is found to be ineligible, their application will be rejected.

The only platform of paying the PU CET UG application fee is via online mode. So far, the examination conducting body has not mentioned about paying the application fee offline.

The online way of paying the application fee of PU CET UG examination is through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI Services. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator. The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the
Candidate. 

Candidates who has sucessfully compeleted their Class 12 or appeared for the same will eb able to appear in PU CET UG 2026 examiantion which will offer 4 year BSc Hons Degree and Pharmacy degree programme offered at Panjab University and other affiliated particiapting institutes for the academic session 2026-2026.

As the exam officials is yet to announe the PU CET UG 2026 exam regsutartion dates, as per the previous year trends followed, candidates can expect the release of the PU CET UG application form 2026 in the third week of March 2026, tentatively.

PU CET UG 2026 exam is expected to be held in the second week of May 2026, tenatatively at Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Muktsar, and Hoshiarpur exam centres in the offline mode for 70 minutes each section. Following is the requirements for a candidate who wish to appear for B Pharma Course :

50% Marks in 10+2 examination conducted by the respective
State/Central Government authorities recognised as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English, Physics,  Chemistry and one of the following subject:-
Biology/ Biotechnology/ Mathematics 

Admission in all categories shall be made subject to fulfilment of the eligibility conditions and in accordance with the provisions contained in the Handbook of Information and Rules for Admission, 2026.

1) 53.5% of the seats in each course shall be treated as belonging to the General Category.
2) 46.5% of seats shall be treated as belonging to the Reserved Category, as per the details given below:
(i) 15% for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes.
(ii) 7.5% for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes.
(iii) 5% for candidates belonging to the Backward Classes
