Panjab University Common Entrance Test (UG) 2025 ( PU-CET (UG) )
PU CET (UG) 2025 Result was declared on June 2, 2025. It will be released through online mode only. Candidates who had participated in the PUCET UG 2025 exam can check their Panjab University result for different programmes by entering their roll number and the chosen subjects in the login window. Go to the official Panjab University website, then browse to the entrance exam section. After all this, look for a link to the 2025 entrance exam. Congo buddy! The University publishes PU – CET (U.G.) result showing the list of “Qualified” and “Not Qualified” candidates for the following combinations of subjects:-
1. Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
2. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
3. Mathematics only.

How to check PU CET (UG) 2025 result
Step 1: The candidate has to visit the official website of Panjab University.
Step 2: On visiting the home page of the website, the candidate had to click on the ‘PU CET (UG) 2025’ result tab on the screen.
Step 3: On clicking the link, the candidates were directed to a new page where the aspirants had to enter their respective login IDs.
Step 4: On entering the login ID and password, candidates were directed to a new tab on the browser where the scorecard was displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Candidates had to download and take a printout of the result scorecard for future reference.
Candidates must note that there shall be no re-evaluation/re-checking/re-assessment of Answer-Sheets under any circumstances. The evaluation, once done by the University, is considered final. The result displayed the list of ‘Qualified’ and ‘Not Qualified’ candidates for the following combinations of subjects
- Physics, Chemistry and Biology
- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
- Mathematics only

Merit List
For admission to BSc (Hons), the final merit is prepared on the basis of merit consisting of the following three components:
- CET
- 10+2 examination merit with weightage 25 per cent, and
- Over and above weightage of NCC, NSS, etc.
For preparing the combined merit of CET for the two streams of students with (i) Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics combination and (ii) Physics, Chemistry and Biology combination, the two streams are evaluated independently.
Cut Off
The PU CET 2025 cut-off list is yet to be released. The list is combined on the following basis:
- 75 per cent weightage given to PU CET (UG) 2025 percentile score
- 25 per cent on Class 12 marks + weightage on other activities
