Yes, PES University conducts an entrance exam-PESSAT for admission to MCA programme. People's Education Society Scholastic Aptitude Test or PESSAT is a computer-based test of three hours. The question paper includes questions of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. There will be four different sections wherein Physics and Mathematics sections will encompass 60 questions each and Chemistry and English section will comprise of 40 and 20 questions respectively. Besides, PESSAT, candidates can also get admission to MCA through Karnataka PGCET score.

At PES University, the minimum eligibility varies with courses. However, the common eligibility for UG programmes is passing Class 12 with atleast 50 % of aggregate marks. The sleection criteria for both the programmes is entrance based.
The eligibility criteria for the BSc Nursing course is a minimum age of 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. The maximum age limit for admission shall be 35 years. Further, candidates must also have Class 12 with a 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Admission to the BSc Nursing course is subject to a valid score in the PESSAT exam. Therefore, candidates must apply for the PESSAT exam. The PESSAT 2024 exam was conducted online as a computer-based test.
